Very good book to read, I suggest people to buy it if you wanted a relationship I think this will help you with your choice

With tears, laughter, prayer, and many notes in the margins, I have officially finished reading When God Writes Your Love Story after three weeks! (That's rather quick for me! :D) Superb page turner, filled with Scriptures that I've dedicated myself to memorize, and memorable quotes by Elisabeth Elliot and Ozwald Chambers I will cherish for years to come. Eric and Leslie, thank you both for sharing your hearts with us, your readers, and showing us that in this day in age (especially today) God is able and willing to write a beautiful Love Story for each of His children, and also allowing the Holy Spirit to use you in sharing with us that Jesus Christ is the sweetest song of all! I ordered this book March 2013 after it caught my eye in a book store. It sat on my shelf for over a year and I finally started reading it April 2014. Today I just finished this book. When finally complete, I burst into tears. I had to fall to my knees and thank God for bringing this book into my life. This book will make you cry, laugh, repent, and hope. It will make you feel guilt and sorrow from your past, it will make you raise your standards for relationships, it will make you cry out to God to take and restore your love life. I started this book right at the end of a break up. I was so desperate for help and understanding. This book completely changed the way I approach relationships. It helped me realize why it didn't work out with the guy I dated. It helped me have JOY that the relationship ended. I have always been the type of person to cycle through relationships, looking for meaning and purpose through them. This book helped me fall in love with God. I am so thankful to be single and invite Him to take complete control of my life. Now, I can wait patiently if He chooses to bring a Christ-like man into my life. I won't settle for less. If you have been through heartbreak, if you have never found fulfillment in your relationships, if you have been left confused and lost in the relationship arena....please read this book. Your eyes will be open to complete truths, and you will be forever changed.

I thought the book made and reinforced basic principles in meeting a mate and relying on GOD to make that happen. I don't think there was anything earthshattering about the book or something I hadn't heard about or considered before. I did disagree about the point on online dating and how GOD wouldn't necessarily pick online dating to find a mate or how it's hard to get to know someone online. I think the author placed limits on GOD and was judging online dating.

Easy to read and understand book about allowing God to choose your mate. So many teens and adults for that matter seem desperate for a relationship, any relationship in some cases. It seems their identity is all wrapped up in the relationship and the focus and energy is maintaining the relationship, even if it's unhealthy. This book shares the authors dating disasters and the desperation so many folks have. The authors finally realize their identity must be in Jesus Christ and not in some relationship. The authors hand over the reins of their love lives to God and allow Him to write their love story. The book is authentic and offers solid tips on how to achieve peace of mind when the Creator of the Universe is in charge of this important area. The book's theme might be: Do you want to settle for less than what God has planned? I read the book after a college student raved about it and agreed--it's a fantastic book. We bought 3 copies, one for each child and a household copy which we're planning to share with others. My husband is currently reading a copy. When he's finished we'll give each child their own copy, ask them to read, and we'll discuss it afterwards. I believe this is a life altering book and recommend it highly.

I was browsing Amazon for romance novels and I came across this book. I bought it thinking, "Oh well, the reviews seem pretty good. Let's give it a try." I am so glad that I decided to purchase this book. It has been the best book I have ever read in my life that has been so fulfilling. Many times I found myself looking for romance books, but felt empty after ending the story. This book is an ultimate guide for men and women in a relationship, whether married or not. There are many aspects in it, such as reflection of your life and how to become a better person. Thanks to this book, I have started to love my future husband even though I have not met him yet. But God has a plan for me, and He has a plan for you too. Don't hesitate and buy the book. I underlined, and wrote notes on the side. It has become so personal that I have decided to leave this legacy only for my future children to read! It may sound ridiculous to you, but not to me. You can only understand this after reading it :) 5 Stars!

I was drawn to this book as I met a guy I'm attracted to and needed a godly perspective and examples of how things ought to work in a Christ-like manner. This book is holistic and covers the key topics of a Christian relationship - emotional/mental/physical purity, surrendering to God even though the loneliness hurts, having a team of counsellors to support you in the journey. It is written in an honest and easy to read language. While the tone is generally light-hearted, it is serious when touching on the important topic of sexual purity (which is much needed and I really appreciate). This book does not disappoint. I came out refreshed with a conviction and encouragement to wait for the Lord to write my love story and not jump recklessly and impatiently into it. It also provided guidance on boundaries of physical and emotional intimacy. Thank you for your sharing.

One of the more clear and helpful books on Christian relationships I've ever read (and honestly I've read my fair share). I am 25 years old and in my first relationship (19 months and going strong!), but I read this book first when I was single and again right as my relationship was beginning. Not only does it give very helpful advice to someone in a relationship (such as ways to maintain your purity and keep the correct priorities), it also really was like warm butter on fresh bread to me in my season of singleness. Because this book is based on letting God have control of your love life, it is encouraging to someone aching for a relationship and trying to keep the right priorities. I know that it helped me immensely and it brought me to a new level of intimacy with God when I didn't have that with another human being.

Amazing book for those who wants to lead a life guided by God. Excerpts from the book......... It is time to make choice. We can embrace empty, selffish lifestyle that ends in heartache and despair, or we can learn to live and love selflessly ..just like our own GREAT LOVER himself. God is longing to write your loves story..a loves story far beyond the most incredible fairy tale ever written. Will you give Him the pen Today? PS... but I will keep believing that God still has a plan. And though I cannot see You now, I know that He can , And someday I will give you all of me. Untill I find you, I' ll be waiting faithfully.....

This has really helped reinforce what I already felt was the right path for me with regards to romance and my walk with God. And I’ve learned a lot also. Hearing Eric and Leslie’s story is so inspiring, it gives me something to look forward to. Highly recommend!

One of the best books ever! All I was hungry to know but nobody in church was talking about. It's a must for every teenager, but also for everyone at any age. The best part is that's not only a unique love story but a challenge for our shallow Christianity. I strongly recommend it.
