Love this so much Working from this is so helpful and it makes us giggle Revised: tried to use with batteries but the batteries don't last long. So we bought a long USB A to C cord, and some clips to plug in the sign. Working great.

I put this above my home office door and it’s honestly one of the best little upgrades I’ve made. I do patient calls from home, and this makes it super clear to my family when I’m on a call or in a meeting. No more knocking or opening the door and risking overhearing private conversations. Huge win for privacy. The remote works perfectly through the closed door, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but it’s been flawless. The light is bright enough to see from down the hall, but not blinding. I’ve been using it daily for several weeks now and the batteries are still going strong. It also has a plug if you’d rather keep it powered that way, but I like the flexibility of battery power. It’s really lightweight, so I just used adhesive picture hanging strips and it hasn’t budged. If you want a permanent setup, it does come with mounting holes too. Build quality is solid, and it looks sharp — not cheap or flimsy at all. If I had to nitpick, the brightness isn’t adjustable, so you just get one setting. For me it’s fine, but it would be nice to dim it down at night or tweak it depending on the room. Overall, great quality for the price, super easy to use, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Definitely worth it if you work from home, stream, or just want a simple way to signal “do not disturb.”

Looks good and is very bright. It has thin plastic face and housing, much lighter than it looks. The remote works well (remote was probably repurposed from another product as it has both LED and RF 433.92MHz but device is RF). Eats batteries quickly. There is a USB-C port on the side near the power switch but it doesn't appear to actually power the device, it won't work without batteries and the batteries drain in a few days despite being plugged in. Edit 20240408 - Added a star to review. USB power does work but only with non-fast charging power supply. Swapped out the USB C cable and USB-C fast charger for an old v5/2A and a USB-A/USB-C cable.

We use this light in our radio station. The light works well indoors. Mounting holes are provided. A USB C cable is supplied, with the assumption that it is to charge batteries that have that ability. The light takes 3 AA batteries. The on-off-on rocker switch works well. The upper setting turns the light on continously while the center position is off. The remote is in the lower switch setting. However we had to remove the plastic battery activation tab to allow an electrical connection on the included remote which has 2 buttons, on and off. The first few times the remote did not work. We removed the battery, checked the voltage with a lab VOM meter and it tested very good. The battery was reinserted, the light switch was cycled a couple of times, and the remote now functions as expected. Would buy again.

I bought this for my son as he has a studio and he needed to put this outside his room so we would know when he was making a movie. It stopped working within two weeks. He didn’t want to tell me because he didn’t wanna hurt my feelings. If he would’ve told me, I could’ve returned it.

A simple all plastic sign that resembles the "real thing" . . . Nice to get with the remote that allows for turning on and off at a distance - great for theater groups doing olde time radio show.

Love it. Bought it for remote work. Everyone in my house wants their own now. The remote works really well through the door. What I like is the on and off buttons are different so you can make sure it's really off or on without seeing it.

This is a nice, bright signal to others letting everyone know when you're busy or on a video call (for instance) while working from home. The remote seems oddly finicky in that I can't simply aim and point at it directly - I have to bounce the remote off a nearby wall to control the light and sometimes I have to search for different nearby surfaces before it will work. My biggest gripe is now quickly the batteries die. I bought rechargeable double A batteries for this and I'm finding I need to charge it every day after several hours of use. I originally used regular non rechargeable batteries but quickly found that it was eating through batteries very quickly. Fortunately, it has a USBC port for non battery power but you need to of course that limits where you can physically place this box. For instance- you might as well use the switch to control the box (don't need the remote) if it depends on the short cable for power. It features holes for mounting on a wall but I can't easily mount it on a wall while powering over USB, ya know?
