Wooden Base Lamp Kit 8 with Brass Un-Switched Lampholder KIT8B

Well made and sturdy. Looks classy. Clear instructions. Relatively easy to assemble.

All in order and a reasonable price. Wood turned a piece of wood and used this kit. Simple to use and good instructions. When drilling the hole for the base screw i used 8mm, it was a good snug fit for this wood.

Just what I needed. Used to rewire a Turkish lamp. Threads were universal with what was fitted so made it easy.

Bought for a project I was doing to an old antique wood plane. The cable looks great & feels well made. The cable is also flexible enough to go through an 8mm hole & round a L shaped bend inside the wood. Very happy

This is a good kit but the instructions are not very good. They really ought to explain details..that the wire must be exposed inside the elements you screw them into, so peel back some plastic of the wire. Also the whole thing must be perfectly aligned or it will not work, it is not dependent on the wires all being in the right place. So thankfully I read a review that said the same and we got it working.

Not as easy to use as I thought but will get used to it

Clear instructions. Easy to earth; just insert green/yellow earth wire into bottom terminal. Blue and brown wires locate in any of the two remaining terminals in any order. Threads are machined properly - nice and smooth no sharp edges. I ordered a 1/2 inch lamp holder seperately as the supplied is a different size. 5/5 for clear English instructions and diagram, quality and value. Brilliant product. Happy customer.

I bought an antique wooden lamp which had had everything removed except for a small screw-in drilled into the top. After a few failed attempts at finding something small enough to screw into the top, this kit worked great! Love the retro brown cord too.
