### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful book!

This is a really lovely book. I have to admit I've not done any of the recipes yet (it only turned up this morning, and just got home from work) however looking through it, the recipes have lots of lovely pics, and well written. If I was going to criticize this it would be on two accounts... 1st It's a lot smaller than I had expected, and second, now I've obviously got the wrong interpretation on Sucre, as I was believing it was a book with sugar recipes.. (sugar baskets etc... New and different ways to use sugar) Well I was wrong... It's just a cake book.... But .. It's a very, very good cake book. So if you are looking for something a little different, with recipes you probably won't find too easily else where, then this IS the book for you. ... It wasn't what I expected to get, but regardless of that, I love it!

Bought this as a gift for a keen baker/cook and she thought it was wonderful. Packaging was great (all come boxed and in tissue paper, pages of book edged in gold) which all help make it extra special. Recipes and photos great too. Have added it to my wish list!

A book wrapped as a gift, beautifully published and full of Laduree's famed recipes for cakes, sweets and macarons. If you're especially into macarons, I would recommend the other book, Laduree Macarons.
