Excellent stain removal for sinks
Bought to treat rough patch on a Silgranit sink. Worked a treat after several applications. Nice smell that doesnโt take your breath away

Worth every penny
Worked a treat. Should have taken before and after picture. Removed limescale around my bath plughole and my around my toilet bowl. Needed about 4 goes and used a screwdriver to remove some stubborn bits, but looks like new. Just requires a bit of elbow grease and you're good.

Not bad
It works but only on very thin limescale. I bought this to get rid of a thick layer of limescale in my bath, but this stuff hardly touched it, so I had to use a scraper in the end. However, it is good at removing a thin layer and prevents it from coming back. Don't leave it on the surface for more than 5 minutes otherwise it will dry up and you will have spray more onto the surface which can be a waste.

What limescale
This does the job everytime. The only negative is the strong smell. Make sure you have a window open when you use it. I live in a hard water area so have huge limescale issues in the bathrooms but a few squirts of this and it's gone.

Decent on Light Limescale, Loses Conviction on Anything Tougher
Picked this up on the back of trying other HG products, some of which have been genuinely impressive, and needed something for limescale build up around taps, the shower screen and bathroom basin. The foam format appealed as something that would cling to vertical surfaces better than a standard spray and allow a proper dwell time without running straight off. The foam application works as intended on that front. It adheres reasonably well to taps and vertical tile surfaces and stays in contact long enough to do something useful. On light surface deposits and early stage limescale it performs adequately, wipe away after a few minutes and the surface comes up clean without much effort. The problem is the same one that showed up with the HG mould spray. Anything beyond light build up and the results become inconsistent. On the shower screen where limescale had accumulated over several weeks and around the base of taps where deposits had thickened, it made a partial improvement but never a complete one. Extended dwell time helped marginally but the foam starts to dry out before it has done the deeper work needed, which limits how far you can push it on stubborn areas. For a five pack the value seems reasonable on paper but if you're getting through product without resolving the underlying build up the cost adds up without satisfying results to show for it. In a soft water area with minimal limescale challenge this would probably perform well and feel like good value. In a hard water area with any real accumulation it sits in the frustrating middle ground of doing something but not enough. A stronger dedicated limescale remover handles the tough jobs more convincingly.
