Useful when needed, but not always necessary
Please hold the track rail nice and firm allowing you to do your cut as you would with no problems. Very easy to use very strong.

DEWALT Clamps

Useful but over-priced and lacking quality and flexibility.
There are plenty of clamps around that are better quality and cheaper than these DeWalt. I'm not saying these are bad, they do the job, but there is nothing special about them and as I realised once I had bought them, there are plenty of other options around. Most guide rail clamps fit the DeWalt rail and some have the dual purpose that they can be used with Festool type worktops as well, which the DeWalt clamps can not. Also, I don't understand what use the little jaw extensions are for. They fall off all the time and I can honestly say that in four years of ownership, I haven't used them once. Just remember that with any rail clamp they work upside down and these happen to protrude rather a long way under the rail. It means that you can't cut sheets that are just sat on some timber on the floor, they have to be at least the height of the clamp off the floor. That's at least 13" off the floor.

Bought when on an offer
Very good price at time of purchase, wanted the DeWalt ones to go with my DeWalt rail. Work well, happy with price and quality. Add to basket or watch list and wait for them to drop in price, that's what I did and got a good price

Dewalt..says it all..Great quality as you would expect ..bought for my evolution track system as strangely evolution don't do similar . Makes setting up and clamping my tracks so much faster..highly reccomend to enhance your track set up
