Beautiful and great knife. Very sharp. I only use it for cutting/carving meat. Feels good in my hand. I hand-wash it immediately after use and put it back in the box.

First of all, I have loved this knife and it shows. I use it for all of my vegetable prep work. It’s a phenomenal knife overall. However, I don’t want to have to replace my knives every two years and this one has not held up against the sharpener. In the last month or so, I have noticed that the blade has chips, and just the other day when I was sharpening it, I watched a tiny piece of the blade fly off. I’m saddened by this because everything else about this knife has been perfect, which is why I am only docking one star.

Shocking quality at that price, nice and sharp, good edge, real wooden handle. I am going to buy the cleaver after getting the nakiri knife.

This knife is very sharp, easy to handle and light weight. The handle is made of an epoxy resin and is pretty long. When slicing, you might find it easier to handle by gripping between the bottom of the blade and the top of the handle. I sliced a few tomatoes for the review video to test it out. The knife sliced through the skin with ease and back across to dice without smashing the tomatoes at all. If you're looking for a great looking knife for the chef in your life, this is a great one to consider!

I bought one about a year ago. It still cuts a watermelon like butter. I bought 2 more as gifts.
