Doesn't ship with a kettle lead so check if you need one when ordering. Simple to use.
Very easy to install and works strait out of the box. Home users note, it doesn't ship with a "kettle lead" (three point wall plug to UPS power input), so check you've got one spare or add one to your order (e.g. plugging into a desktop PC you simply use the PC lead for the UPS, then use one of the two leads supplied with the UPS to complete the supply to the PC). The unit is slightly smaller than your average shoe box so it's easy to hide away under a desk etc. Finally, as a retired IT pro I've used APC for years without issue. Their build quality tends to be very good.

More than enough power to keep your running smooth and safe.
Having used many APC products in my professional life, I wasn't surprised to find the fantastic quality of this product.I was a little confused by the connections and interfaces (a USB to RJ45 cable...really?!), but that may just be because I'm used to the commercial kit. After thoroughly reading the manual though I did get everything setup as I needed.Works exceptionally well with my Synology NAS, once plugged in the NAS set itself up before I even found the options! I was having quite a few issues with input voltage irregularity prior to getting this, but once I set the UPS to it's maximum sensitivity, everything is working perfectly. This capacity will run a four-bay NAS for two and a half hours however, so I'm going to get a smaller unit for the NAS and move this to my main rig setup instead. The only downside is that although you can set the screen to turn off after a set time, there seems to be no way to disable the button LEDs so the unit always gives off a white glow which can be a little annoying at times. As a final note, I had my NAS running straight from the mains for around 5 months prior to getting this UPS and never had an issue; after only having it setup for a few weeks, something blew and caused a huge surge which took out a many other electronics. You really never know when your luck is going to run out so make sure you're prepared, I could have lost 10TB of data if I didn't have this UPS.

Great product - left in rain when delivered
This product was bought is an upgrade to an existing CS350 as I needed more power to keep the NAS box, Ethernet switch and broadband router all alive during power cuts. An added benefit is surge protection as a recent storm took out my old router and phones as they were not on a protected supply. This model has a visual representation of power so is more useful. The USB port is useful in that the NAS can enter a managed shut down when there is less than 10% battery power remaining.Let down by Amazon delivery who 'claimed' handed to resident despite my being out and not following the safe place to deliver the item instruction and just left the box in the drizzle. Impressed with the APC UPS, but far less so with the delivery on this occasion.

Easy to use and setup
Product arrived on time, and well packaged. Really easy to setup and instructions are clear. Battery arrives disconnected for safety, and unit self tests and charges when plugged in. APC even include a test passed note attached to the side of the unit to confirm it has passed their internal checks. Haven't tested the capacity of the device however I expect it to be sufficient time to power down in the event of a power loss, but not enough for sustained usage. Overall a good product.

Great reliable unit that just works with lots of other computer kit
Purchased this to provide battery back up for my NAS system as we get a few short term power outages, and this keeps the NAS and data safe. It also keeps a small form factor computer running at the same time.Setup is very simple, and the supplied USB cable connects to my NAS and the NAS works without any further setup, shutting down automatically if the UPS batteries get too low for a longer power outage.I choose this one over lesser models due to the ability to swap out the battery in it. I've had an APC UPS in the past and it's done sterling service for years with a few battery changes, I expect this one to do much the same.

Small size
Good product from APC as always, small in size so will fit under desk, the price is expensive but worth it to save your computer, easy to setup, you may need to buy more power leads if connecting more than one thing,

Why no power cable?
It seems to work ok, but why isn’t it shipped with a power cable? I had to go hunting around the house for an old one.

Very good UPS.
This is used in my office and powers various monitors, printer, network, NAS drive and laptops. In total it’s running a load of around 250 watts and showing a battery runtime of around 40 mins which is more than enough to cope with most domestic power outages. My guess is that when the time comes the only downside will be the battery replacement will be expensive. I also own two Cyberpower UPS’s and the batteries for those cost about £17 whereas the APC is over £100 if you go with a genuine APC one. Just one to think about a couple of years down the road. Apart from that. It is easy to install has 10 IEC sockets on the rear (all surge protected and 5 covered by the battery). Also, has surge protection for your network which is great if you have network cables that run outside of the building and also helps to remove noise over longer cable runs.
