I usually do not leave reviews unless something I buy either is very poor or in this case is excellent. I honestly cannot believe how effective this hand cream is. It literally turned the clock back on my dry, wrinkly and looking old before their time hands. As a midwife I am constantly needing to wash my hands with liquid soaps that are not in any way friendly to hands, which has resulted in my mine looking like they belong to someone in their 80s. I was so self conscious of them. Literally after the 1st use of this cream the years fell away from my hands. I couldn't believe it. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. But trust me guys this cream absolutely works wonders. It is so easy to apply, it absorbs into the skin really quickly, leaving them feeling soft and mousterised and not greasy or sticky, like some creams do. You only need the smallest drop, so it will last a while. The dry, crepey skin that covered the back of my hands disappeared in an instant and my hands feel great instead of feeling like I've got papyrus coating them. You honestly will not regret buying this hand cream if you have dry and prematurely wrinkled hands......now all I need is a miracle face cream that'll work like this hand cream does 😁.

This is a light face cream - goes on and absorbs very easily with no apparent residue sitting on the skin. I am very sensitive to perfumes and chemicals and I have used this moisturiser on my face with absolutely no problems. Great value product and good to know it is dermatologically tested and produced by a reputable organisation doing good works. One note - it is not a heavy duty moisturiser - more for slightly dry/normal skins. I love its

My hands are bad shape. I wash my hands so much due to my job, and they were starting to look old and dry no matter what cream I used. This is more like a gel-cream consistency. Feels velvety soft and moisturises so well. My hands immediately look better when I put it on, and it sinks in slowly and stays moisturised for ages. I even used it on my heels and elbows, feels great. I'll definitely be buying again!

Been shopping from altruist for a few years now, after being on accutane for a year and my skin still breaks out this moisturiser really seems to help. It’s non greasy and keeps my skin glowy all day. Applies nice under makeup aswell. Wish the bottle was bigger as I go through one every month.

This hand cream is AMAZING!! It’s easy to apply, think consistency but easily/quickly absorbed! I put on before bed & my hands still feel amazing in the morning! No fragrance but no horrible smell. Would definitely recommend & will look at other products from altruist now too.

I ordered this to help me soothe and protect my skin during a severe flare up of what is probably rosacea. After 3 months of spreading raised red lumps, scaly and itchy skin on my face I was getting desperate to find something to help. I stopped doing anything to my face ( such as oatmeal face masks, tea tree oil cleansers, honey etc, which only seemed to make things worse). I do not wear any makeup. I am now using only this Altruist moisturiser several times a day, combined with the Altruist sunscreen and colour correction when I go outdoors. My skin has settled down, the redness and raised lumps gradually lessening over about a week. Not all gone but I am hopeful of getting a clear skin back in time. The product is absorbed quickly and keeps my skin supple overnight. The price us very reasonable and I am happy to go on using it.

This should be used as an underlayer to whatever moisturiser you use; so, when people describe it as 'too light', then that's how it's supposed-to-be. It goes on first to already damp skin to get the best out of this product. It's not greasy, and does fully absorb into the skin, and once dried to a soft, dry feel, then apply a suitable moisturiser. If you want the best for your skin, also drink a lot of water, and being in the supplement industry I also take the best hyaluronic acid supplements to aid this topical application. I've used this product since it was first available via Amazon, and people do say that I look younger than my years, although I cannot verify that statement, as I cannot see properly to see if they're just being kind. Too much topical hyaluronic acid could also have the opposite effect and start to dry-out skin, and that's why they typically only have seemingly low-levels, but any more than around 2% might start to have an adverse effect upon your skin; so, this 0.5% is safely within those limits. It has risen in price since I first ordered it, (25%) but it's still a reasonable outlay for a quality product. Plus; as an altruist myself, a percentage of each sale does support others, and that is to be only commended. So, I trust in others that it works, (from their aforementioned comments) and I have not experienced any negative issues whilst using this product, and to my knowledge, the composition has not changed since first purchasing.

A good and reliable product. I liked how absorbent this was on my skin without feeling too heavy or rich. I use several of the altruist products as they were recommend to me by a friend. I can use this at night or during the day underneath sun screen and make up. A great go to for a quick easy moisturiser but without the SPF.
