Large sandbox!
This sand box was easy to assemble and seems to be made well. The edges are thick enough to sit on. It is BIG! There is plenty of room for my 4 kids (plus neighbors) to play. It’s easy for two toddlers to get in and out of. This was a great purchase! My kids love it!

Very well made sandbox love the price
Love this sand box perfect for my autistic son. He is tall and likes to lay down in it sometimes so this was the perfect fit for him. Holds sand very well. The bench around is very sturdy he likes to walk around them. Very easy to put together.

Happy children!
We thought assembly was really easy. Customer service made it clear by emailing me that they would be happy to help if we had trouble. The instructions were clear, supplies well labeled, and the product does have a video too. It looks amazing in our backyard. Feels like a huge sandbox, yet doesn’t take up a huge amount of space. The only reduction in a star is, it’s a little tricky as just one parent to raise and lower the canopy by myself. I’m not very tall, which may factor in, and I think in time I’ll get the hang of it. But basically you have to lift it evenly from the middle with the knobs nice and loose, which really puts your center of gravity in an awkward position especially if you’re short and very pregnant like me! Then, you have to get the knobs clamped down on both sides so it stays up. The canopy is so nice though! Sturdy for fabric, able to be angled for more shade, really able to handle a downpour of water. We’re really glad we got the kids this sandbox, they are crazy about it!

Good value. Take your time assembling
Overall, really like this sandbox. Assembly instructions are pretty easy to understand but go slow and be careful. You have to screw into the edge of the 1/2 inch wide boards and there are no predrilled holes. If you're not in the center you will split the wood. This only happened to me once but I could see it happening a lot. You'll need a drill or screw gun. Approximately 60 screws. It comes with a heavy duty filter fabric that lays on the ground for the floor. It will let water through but not the sand. The shade cover works great. I put 8 bags of sand at 50 lbs each and it filled the box perfectly. About an inch below the top. I recommend this product but the assembly is not for everyone.

It's everything both parents and kids want!
This sandbox is everything we were looking for in a sandbox! 1. It was easy to assemble. I used just a manual screwdriver and a staple gun. Even with "help" from the kids, it was done in under 20 minutes. It took longer to unload the sand into it than it took to put it together. 2. It's large and sturdy. Our kids (6, 3, 1) and their friends climb all over it. Our kids' developmental and speech therapists play in it with them. My son's sit-on excavator fits in the sandbox and his sisters still have plenty of room to play. It's deep enough for them to bury pirate treasure. 3. It has a cover. The cover goes on easily and stays on in all but the strongest of thunderstorms (we live in tornado alley and thunderstorms are common). We do have a large bucket sitting under the cover to ensure water runs off instead of pooling on top of the cover. 4. The kids love it! It has been the hit of the backyard since we got it.

Great value
We bought it as a small rock box (I hate sand) for my grandson. It’s perfect!! I love that it has a cover that can keep stray animals from using it! Also love the little boards on the edges for him to set on and play. Great value for the money!

Not easily assembled, cheesy canvas frame and poor rain protection
Read the reviews, would like to hire the persons kids who helped him assemble in 20 minutes. This unit was difficult to assemble, holes didn't line up well with the thin no drilled boards. I drilled what was needed to keep from splitting the wood and center as much as possible. The description said it 100% cedar, this cedar is not like any cedar I have used in the past, no cedar smell and the wood looked white. The side wall connections were very loose and would have been better if secured by galvanized brackets. The notches on the intertwined boards were only secured by 2ea 1x2x6" boards with 4 screws, very unstable. The canvas provided doesn't fit well and turns up at the ends forming a catch pan instead of a rain drain path. You have to cut the canvas at the uprights to the canvas frame to allow the canvas to lay flatter, there is no way to secure to the side boards. True enough that whole canvas support and framework is flimsy and will be gone when extended with any big wind. If I'm right about the wood, it will be rotted out in 2 years just like a tree swing that was up almost 2 years with very similar wood. All and all it is very cute and probably functional but unlikely to last as is for any length of time.

Nice size and Easily Put Together
20 years later I am putting up another sandbox at the house, this time for my grandson and this box looks way better than the 2x4 box I made for my kids 20 years ago. Definitely worth it.

There was missing scores (that make the umbrella go up and down) also the wood was too fragile at the lateral side of the box , try to bee gentle when you assemble it .
