It is still being used and has done a its job of protecting the table. It fits tightly to the surface, but you can lift it up to readjust it if necessary without damage to a hand stained table. It has a nice thickness and does look like a glass top if it's cut to fit the table. The seller cuts the protector a little larger than the specifications ordered and it is easy to cut to adjust if you're not sure of your exact measurements. I ordered mine longer than the table due to expanding the end leaves so the protecter does hang over the ends when the table is downsized. It has decent flexibility to do this. If your needs require it, I believe they will cut to your exact measurements. Over several years it is showing signs of wear but that's expected. There must be some new type of printing process going on as we never experienced anything like this in the prior 5 years, but those color dyes were transferred in to the plastic and would not come out with any cleaners.
