Doidy Cup - The Healthy Way to Learn to Drink from a Cup

A brilliant little cup! My baby started using this at about 7 or 8 months old. He is now 9 months and can lift the cup to his mouth and drink from it independently. Obviously practise makes perfect and water goes everywhere while they’re getting to grips with it...a bit like being at a water park! Love the open cup style, my little one loves splashing his fingers in it too.

I went straight to this and baby seems to like it and knew what to do straight away. Easy to clean and has been thrown on the hard floor many times without breaking. Good product.

My baby didn’t take to it at first even though she had been bf for 6 months. Took a month and now she’s drinking out of it much better.

Excellent cup for teaching how to use proper cups - not so good when they are littler though as the width of the brim means that milk/juice/water will escape either side, run down their chin and neck and into their clothes or a bib if you have a close fitting one. Our wee one is getting the hang of it though and has learned how to blow bubbles when "drinking" from it! :)

If you (and your child) want to practice drinking from a "big girl/boy" cup, then this is an excellent starting point. I purposely bought this in a bright colour, different from my child's sippy cups to try and remind her that this one needs to be handled with care (my floor still gets covered in water, but she is 14months - you kinda expect mess!!) I noted that the packaging also says that this cup is good for elderly or people with restricted movement or coordination. I hadn't considered this but a very good solution to aid drinking. This is a good design and a great price.

I bought these for my 15-month-old as I wanted to move her off sippy cups to an open cup. Having got used to the angle needed to get water from a sippy cup, my daughter struggled to get the flow right with these and mostly tipped water all over her face. Have now gone straight to normal open cups, and she's fine. These are probably best to use straight away when weaning from breast or bottle, rather than those who have already got used to normal cups.

I bought this for my 7 month old as since she's started weaning she's not wanted a bottle or a cup. We've been through a lot of different cups! She refuses them all and we're struggling to get baby milk or any kind of liquid down her. I got it same day delivery. Washed it and gave my daughter some juice in it. We managed to get a quarter of a cup of juice down her.. and she opened her mouth for more! I would highly recommend this! We did have to keep her hands occupied as she likes to grab things.. and I don't really want her tipping it everywhere 😂. But it is absolutely amazing how she took to it instantly after being through various different beakers and cups.

These were recommended to us to use instead of a regular sippy cup because it promotes natural motion drinking and development. The continued sucking needed for a standard cup can lead to dental and speech problems and also I really struggled to get the lids off when we used them with our first child. I was dubious at first because our baby is only 8 months old but I shouldn't have been! It's so easy to hold to help him drink, and he just loves it. He can hold and drink himself though he generally ends up throwing the last bit everywhere! Because of the design, he doesn't have to tip his head back so it's just a matter of coordinating getting the cup to his mouth and I'm surprised how quickly he managed that. Can't recommend them enough!

Apparentemente utile, in realtà è facilissima da rovesciare a causa della sua forma e perciò la mia bambina si fa costantemente la doccia con il contenuto della tazza ogni volta che la usa al punto che l'ho dovuta riporre! Ora usa un comune bicchiere di plastica. Sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto.

Llevamos meses usándolo y nos encanta. Muy recomendable!

Dies ist unser zweiter Doidy Cup, das grosse Geschwisterchen hatte auch schon einen, daher haben wir schon viel Erfahrung sammeln koennen. Mit dem Doidy Cup lernen die Kleinen das selbststaendige Trinken und koennen schon ganz alleine an Familienmahlzeiten teilnehmen. Das staerkt das Selbstvertrauen und das Zugehoerigkeitsgefuehl. Durch die Griffe ist der Cup gut zu halten und durch die besondere Form geht wenig daneben beim Trinken. Trotzdem lernen Kinder, dass sie aufpassen muessen und ihnen wird nicht wie bei diesen Stehauf-Tassen oder Schnabeltassen die Lernerfahrung genommen, dass man seine Tasse sorgfaeltig hinstellen muss und dass es eben auch vorbeifliessen kann beim Trinken. Zudem ist der Doidy Cup sehr leicht, ideal fuer kleine Esser. Wir wuerden ihn immer wieder kaufen!

Mein Sohn trinkt endlich Wasser oder Tee! Er ist kein fiaschenkind und ich hab mir immer sorgen gemacht er bekomme zu wenig Flüssigkeit jetzt mit der beikost. Er ist 8 Monate alt und hat wirklich super schnell gelernt aus dem Becher zu Trinken. Es scheint ihm jetzt richtig Spaß zu machen und er trinkt nun ca 100 ml über den Tag schon mal verteilt dank des Bechers. Werde noch mehr bestellen für unterwegs immer einen dabei zu haben und bei der Oma zu haben. Natürlich kann mein Sohn den Becher noch nicht alleine zum Mund führen das mache ich natürlich aber er kann so schauen was da auf ihn zu kommt an Flüssigkeit und später kann er den Becher dann an den griffen selber halten. Die Qualität finde ich auch super 👍 schön robust !
