Keep it clean
If you look after your cooker correctly you may never need this. Never forget to give the upper part of the cooker, where the lid meets the cooker body a very good clean - it's easily overlooked as it's not visible to the eye without a mirror and a build up of matter there will affect the seal and therefore no presssure. After every use and thorough clean lightly oil the rubber seal on the lid and remember - dirty seal or dirty seating - no pressure.
