Good quality ink for colour
For a fountain pen ink this is absolutely beautiful. I would suggest using this ink with a mid size to broad nibs to get the gradient with the light and dark colour that this ink tends to give. I chose the brown colour as I wanted that coffee brown that’s not transparent sort of look. As I am writing this review I have finished 1 cartridge out of the 6 you get in the box with one of the faber castel fountain pens which lasted me around 50 A5 pages to write from the top to bottom. I’ve used the ink pretty consistently across every 3-5 days for reference and haven’t seen any clogging up of the feed or the nib. This is my first time using a fountain pen ink and it seems to dry fairly quickly, however it does take a few seconds to dry and otherwise it smudges.

These are red not pink!
My mistake for not reading the colour that clearly says ruby red, I just saw the hot pink box and thought they'd be pink! Still nicely pigmented ink though :)

Expensive for just 6 cartridges
Nice colour but not worth the price for just 6 cartridges of which I use one, sometimes two a day for moderate writing at uni. If it was a heavy writing day I think I could go through nearly a pack.

The ink is great and flows like a dream, don't get me wrong, but seriously. One wee little carton in a huge box? Just send it as a letter next time and don't make me pay that much extra for postage.
