Kaweco Classic Sport Fountain Pen Bordeaux

The Kaweco gold-nibbed pen is a an absolute delight to use and gloriously beautiful to look at. The clever design with the oversized cap means that the pen is smaller when closed than when it is open. Great price from Amazon.

Nothing wrong with this pen. It’s a budget pen, so I didn’t expect premium packaging. It comes in a simple cardboard sleeve wrapped in a grey plastic bag. It’s cheap and to be honest , feels it. The pen is plastic, no clip, no adornments. The nib is good though and the medium tip writes smoothly enough. It came with a cartridge secreted in the barrel, which you’ll need to tap on a table to remove. It’s small, so won’t suit folks with extra large hands. A good pen, very cheap

Excellent service, arrived really quickly and writes beautifully, I chose the fine nib

This is an amazing fountain pen ! I have a number of fountain pens (Parker Duofold, an original 51) and this writes as well, if not better, than them. Its compact size means it’s perfect for travel. Superb value for money !!

Surprisingly smooth but too light for me 🙁 I should have bought a copper one. Value for money is questionable in view of the cheap Chinese pens on the market but I have not found one as smooth as this. Quality control seems good and I think it will last well but sadly for Kawelco the price is too high for me to award it 5 stars. It needs to be 2/3rds the price for that. It is nevertheless a welcome addition to my excellent Kawelco pencil and roller-ball that I use when travelling.

Really good and quite comfortable pen. Got it as a gift for partner and she’s difficult to please and she’s happy with it. Be warned though, whilst the nibs write smoothly, depending on how you write, one persons too thick is another’s just right. I do wonder how easily it will scratch the body of the pen.

I love these pens. They are comfortable, write well and are great to just shove in your bag or pocket. However they don’t have room for a spare cartridge so be careful not to be caught short of ink. Also don’t develop a nervous habit of twisting the lid on and off, because you will destroy the thread!

Good quality and received it fast thank you for Ur good service

Ich kann den Kaweco Sport nur empfehlen! Gerade wer einen günstigen Füller mit einzigartigem Design sucht ist hier richtig. Einzig das sehr geringe Gewicht könnte so manchen stören, mich aber nicht!

I am a left hander. Smudging is a way of life. With this pen tho, smudging is a lot less. I will credit it to the ink. In fact, I am thinking of buying the Kaweco ink for my Lamy safari.

Wrights really well, easy to store

Nice thick nib tip and it can be used as an eyedropper pen.
