I have only tried the single wrap set, size Large, on our 15.5 year old Samoyed (50 lbs.) that was having a bit of trouble keeping her back legs straight. Was laying down to eat and stumbling on changing surfaces. and a bit of splaying. I measured with a string around the hocks and the Large size seems to fit perfectly. I put them on her and she loved them immediately and her gait and walking has improved dramatically. She wanst them on all the time and doesn't care when we put them on her. We have only had them a few days, so I limit her to a few hours at a time. Mostly when we go for walks. They have added a lot of stability and she doesn't stumble as much. She has been on Librella for about 14 months too. The braces have been a blessing. We also brought the Super Size braces with 4 Velcro straps, and for some reason the measurements said size Medium. We have not tried them yet as we are cautious not to provide too much support until needed. I think they will really help, but the smaller sets has made such a dramatic improvement already. Strongly recommend. Better than we could have hoped for.

Poorly stitched seams cut into my dogs legs after wearing less than a day. Not sized well either. Initially purchased small based on meticulous measurements and had to return for medium. Spend a little more for better quality you and your furry friend will be better for it.

Used these to assist my big boy with his arthritis. Very comfortable and easy to put on. I know when I pick them up to put on him, they must work because he allows strap them on with no fuss. We used these for several years due to one of his legs had issues from being hit when he was a puppy.

Is working well for my dog

These hock wraps are extremely difficult to put on. I have a Lab so lots of leg to cover. Hard to keep in place while wrapping the velcro. Velcro straps are too long and while wrapping around the leg the whole wrap slips down and you have to start over. A better design would be to have the hock opening on the solid part so you could place it over the bone then fasten. The wrap works wonders once in place. 5 stars on that. But unless you are familiar with velcro wraps this will be difficult if not impossible to apply.

Great customer service. Read the instructions to make sure you are putting them on correctly. - Different from other braces. We were a size MED in other braces and moved to a Small in this brace.

My dog saw two different veterinarians during the tine she wore these and both vets told me they weren’t going anything for her. One vet added ‘just throw them in the trash’. In fairness to the manufacturer, her rear legs are pretty weak.

Our 13-year old senior lab mix has been dealing with instability from two torn ACLs for over a year. Per our vet, he's too old to risk surgery, so we've been looking for something to help him walk and stand a little easier. These did the trick! He actually trotted when he was out on his walk yesterday, which he hasn't done in forever (see video). Measurement chart was accurate. Choose size based on those leg measurements and not just on the overall breed size. The braces were relatively easy to put on and adjust. They're not super heavy duty, but the price is just right. Ordering a 2nd pair for him now so we can switch them out if they get too flimsy after a while. Very effective for our guy! He seems a lot more stable on his feet now and is having an easier time getting up from his bed.
