The lug nuts on a 2016 Chevy Equinox are sheathed in a skin of "aluminum". They are not durable and swell up after time while not looking good anymore. These lug nuts are solid chromed steel and very well built. They look great and the chrome holds up well if you don't use a impact tool on them as they tell you in the installation instructions. I am very satisfied with the quality and thread fit and I can only hope the chrome coating holds up against rust as I think they will. The threads are cleanly cut and fit the studs perfectly plus I have four extra lug nuts just in case. Good deal and way better than the OEM.

Fit perfect on 2008 Silverado 1500. Torqued to 140ft-lb with no issue. Quality seems good, Chrome appears to be of good quality. I don’t mistreat chrome lugs by using an impact on them as it damages the chrome which exposes the steel lug to the weather and will rust. Eventually rust wins no matter but for the price, buy more. Use a very thin film of never seize on the stud threads and beveled face on the lug. Do NOT put never seize into the new lug nut. Just a very thin film on the stud/lug threads or you’ll hydro-lock the lug nut and ruin the threads trying to tighten them.

These were great. Fit my 2016 GMC Yukon Denali. These replaced my OEM ones that had this thin layer of sheathing which are horrible. They dent up, make the sockets impossible to remove. Recommend these!

UPDATE Spring 2026: These things are GARBAGE for anyone who drives in the winter in an area of the country that uses road salt. These nuts were so rusted that it was difficult to get a socket on them to remove, and then once I got the socket on, it couldn't get the socket off unless I left the lug nut on the lug and used that to pull it out of the socket. Wasted over an hour getting these on and off when it should have taken me about 20 minutes total. Tossing them in the trash. UPDATE Winter 24-25: These have fared poorly in the snow and salt of upstate NY (see pic). They are corroded and rusting; the chrome plating is junk. The value of these have sunk for me. I bought a set of these to replace the OEM lug nuts on my 2016 Chevy Colorado pickup. Driving in upstate NY, lug nuts get exposed to a lot of road salt during the winter, so while these lug nuts appear to be of excellent quality now, my hope is to come back and update this review if they start to corrode after a winter of driving. If you don't see an update of this review by April 2025, then assume I'm happy. If I notice something that needs to be updated in my reviews, I always edit my original to correct initial impressions, or to add additional thoughts on pros and cons.

I was very pleased to get my lug nuts they look great on my Silverado .

Lug nuts was fine just like stock. Only problem was there was one lug nut missing from package. Had to use them . And one old lug nut. To get vehicle back on the road. But product worked fine

The OEM lug nuts on our Suburban were the kind with the sheet metal cap over them that split and come apart after a while. The tire shop wanted over $100 to replace them all and I wasn't willing to pay that, so I ordered these on Amazon. They appear to be high quality, are solid steel without the sheet metal cap. They were an exact replacement for the original lug nuts. Win!! I would purchase these again.

Perfect fit for Chevy Silverado OEM rims. Looks better quality than the OEM. Will have to wait and see.
