Instinct seems to be in good supply and is made in the US using plastic and foil containers. I was in a bit of trouble with my 3 cats who only eat Royal Canin (also named Instinctive). Since the minced pieces look similar to Royal Canin I tried this food. I did not mix, I placed equal portions of Instinct and Royal Canin side by side in the cat bowls and all 3 cats went for the new Instinct food, but also finish up Royal Canin. Thank goodness since Royal Canin has been sold out for the last 4 months. Unfortunately, Instinct costs a little bit more but also contains .5 ounces more so pretty much the same per ounce. The cats just get more food. Will have to try the other flavors to give some variety to their diet and have other options for the next shortage. And to all those scalpers who are trying to sell Royal Canin at 4-6x normal price, I hope my cats get to poop in your shoes one day.

My cat has been super picky her whole life, but she ate this so fast until it was gone! I am happy she loves it, happier that she is eating something healthy and with clean ingredients. Win win!

This food is very nutritious for cats! There are only real meat ingredients and no bi-products. There are also many vitamins, fruits, and veggies packed into it. This is my first time having a cat and I did a lot of research on the best wet foods and this is one of best options that I could find within my affordability. My cat loves this food! She is 7.5 pounds and I feed her 1/4 of the container once a day and she eats the Instinct Original Chicken dry food throughout the rest of the day.

My cats (4 of them) do not care for this “flavor” even though they do enjoy other flavors (rabbit and tuna) from this label. This food seems to be of quality ingredients without fillers. I rated this 4 stars because of my perceived ingredient quality but took away a star because the food has an oily smell and seems “greasy” by leaving a residue in the bowl that I don’t see with the other flavors. Not particularly a bad thing, but it seems to be an issue for my cats which can be picky.

My tabby has a fish allergy and is a very picky eater to boot. This is the only brand he does not have an allergic reaction to, and he eats with without a fuss! Also great for my flame point who is on a diet as he eats less of it.

My cats hated this. One even tried to bury it.

Product was damaged inside the box and 2 of the containers were busted open.

If I could afford to feed it every day l would thats not going to happen.
