After reading the reviews on this product we purchased this inadvance of collecting our new puppy. We have used this as a bedtime comforter for our puppy and he loves it. We used from the first night we collected him at 8 weeks old. He snuggles into the puppy with the heartbeat on and sleeps for about 6 - 7 hours with no crying or whimpering. One of the best pet toys we have purchased. The heartbeat is switched on and runs for approx 7 hours and we have used it for 4 nights at the moment and the batteries have not needed to be replaced as yet. We keep the snuggle puppy just for bed time to get our dog in to a routine and once he doesnt need it he can then have during the day. Highly recommend.

Really cute toy for new cockapoo puppy. Think it has helped with settling in at bedtime. The heartbeat is relaxing for new dog parents too! As other people have reviewed it does go through batteries very quickly 3x 8hrs and needed to be replaced. The heart beat was still working but very faint. Expensive for what it is.

So it came and pup seemed to like it.. Until I put the heart in. The heart emits an audible Buzz noise which freaked her out so she wouldn't go near it. Anyway I wrapped the heart in a sock to muffle the noise and stuffed it back in. Shall see over next few days if it works as for the price if it continues to freak her out (cos mom may have had a heartbeat but she didn't Buzz) then it's being returned. I bought this one because no other was motion activated that I could find

My puppy loved his snuggle puppy, but after 3 months of overnight use the heartbeat mechanism stopped working despite battery changes. When I looked inside the little hammer moving part that simulates the heartbeat was moving for 2 beats then stopping. I bought what i thought was the best quality product on the market, but it's not value for money when you only get 3 months use before it breaks!

This was a life saver! My puppy wouldn’t sleep through the night and would often cry even with me in the room. After we bought this he slept right through. No more sleepless nights for me and him. He’s now 5 months old and still snuggles up to it every night. He seems to find it really comforting. Worth its weight in gold.

Quite expensive for what it is but seems to help my 12 week puppy settle in her crate when I have to leave for a short period helps with the anxiety.

Cute toy and is still in one piece after lots of puppy teeth nibbles. My puppy thought nothing of the heart only looked at me “what’s that noise curious eyes” and carried on nibbling! It’s quite expensive though, I’ve seen much cheaper ones!

Before adopting my 12 week old puppy, I saw the reviews on this product. I wanted to give it a try since this will be the first time she’s away from her siblings. She’s been separated from her mama for a couple weeks before adopting her due to health issues with the mama. We started crate training from day, one, and the first night I put her in the crate with her stuffed animal puppy. She cried for about a half hour, and went to sleep for the rest of the night. A week has passed since, and she is doing great with the crate. Last time I had a puppy, 15 years ago, it took him about a week before he calmed down in the crate. I set this in the advanced setting so as soon as it is touched, the heartbeat will start. So far so good, the stuffed animal is very durable, and she sleeps right with it. Definitely worth the money I spent on it.
