Does the HP305X just replace the 305A I currently use or is it only for certain printers?

Hi, the HP305X is the higher capacity black toner. I believe it has twice the capacity of the 305A. My understanding is that if you currently use the 305A, then you should also be able to use the X version.

Cannot beat the originals

Excellent toner for HP LaserJet printers. I use the original cartridges for my HP LaserJetPro 400 Colour series printer. The product is exactly as described, and was dispatched rapidly by the seller. These cartridges certainly do provide the advertised print capacity, but beware that of course heavier printed pages will obviously use the cartridges more quickly. I would always recommend the HP originals, even for the extra price - the cheaper versions are more likely to fail, may leak toner, and never can print as much anyway.

Unable to return even though its faulty

This item was bought in February but only just got round to needing it. When opened it exploded blue ink everywhere. Now it appears I can't return it.

Not as shown in the picture

The picture quite clearly showed a Hewlett Packard 305 A toner cartridge. The item that arrived was not Hewlett Packard nor did it even pretend to be, it was 'Longbow'. It was the same price as the genuine HP item as sold and supplied by others. The picture was of the Hewlett Packard item and so I am very, very, dissapointed that I had been sold what may prove to be an inferior alternate product.
