These are 50lb carabiners not 150lb as advertised.

I bought this wee thing to act as a cord tensioner of my shade sail. Does the job really well (so far) Easy to use, instructions are pretty clear. At the moment it's holding the entire tension of the sail with just two winds of the cord. I think the body is made from a high quality plastic/nylon, with a stainless steel carabiner gate, but it does the job. Going to buy at least one more, maybe two, as there are lots of things I could use it for. It does say Max Load is 50lb, so under extreme gale force winds, I'd probably take the sale down. I wouldn't be using it anyway.

Kept with a length of para cord in my Bergen. Handy for when you need to improvise and tighten up a poncho or throw up a washing line! Easy to use and lock off. They seem to be quite robust and durable.

Used para cord and it slipped through. Preferred the sturdier clamp style Nite Ize.

Buy these - 100's of camping uses and as a washing line for hotel rooms. Very light and so easy to use, just get any bit of para cord and cut to length put one of these on one end and job done
