Will it last as long? were my main concerns. Well, I have to say the Kamado Joe out ways the Egg on every level that I can think of other than a name with a longer history. The Joe's features are far superior - like the soft close hinge lid, the sealer than ages better, the built in ash tray, even the stand in come with is better and comes with shelves. I did think that quality may suffer with the lower price but please take my word for it. The Joe really is a winner!

**Q: Trying to work out why this is £600 more than the Classic I. Air lift hinge + different vent + different seal doesn't seem to justify it.**
A: Hello,  the classic 2 not only comes with all these features it also has teh fibreglass gasket on the base and the dome where the classic 1 is a felt gasket along with teh classic 2 also having the lock when closing the dome. The upgrades on the classic 2 are all additonal upgrades to provide an better performace of the grill and the users grilling experience.

**Q: What is the grill accessory package that is included with the product?**
A: Flexible cooking system rack, 2 halved cooking grates, accessory rack and 2 halved heat deflectors.

**Q: Once unpacked, can it fit through a standard size UK door so I can carry to my garden without the shelves fitted.**
A: It’s a 23 inch diameter bowl. The average door is 32 inches. Should be good!

This is very well though out and put together. Easy to assemble (needs 2 people). Cooks like nothing else I have ever used. One of the best features is that after cooking, I close all vents and the fire dies down - I am left with useable charcoal to light again. Does direct and indirect cooking with provided ceramic half disks. Buy additional equipment to turn it into a smoker, griddle, pizza oven e.t.c.. - all well worth the cost. Probably pass it on to the kids if you look after it!
