Donner Tremolo Pedal, Golden Tremolo Guitar Pedal Analog Tremolo Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar and Bass True Bypass

I’ve had a few tremolos over the years. Some expensive and some mid-price point. The building of a new board has forced me to buy a few pedals at the budget-end with the intention of replacing them with something more expensive later. I won’t be doing that with this pedal. I’m holding on to it! It’s in a really robust, metal housing (don’t know how robust the insides are yet as I’ve no reason to take it apart - it doesn’t take an internal battery) and the switch/knobs feel secure enough. Usually with products at this price point, for all of their virtues, there’s something irksome that you have to live with. Not this one. I’m really happy with the range of sounds and I particularly like the bias knob that offers how prominent you want the effect to be. Not a level, but a subtly knob in some ways. My main bugbear with any pedal is how noisy it is and how much tone it’ll suck from my guitar. This is neither noisy nor a tone sucker so well done to it. My pedal snobbery is seriously challenged by this unit. I’m playing it plugged into a Boss ES-8 through a Victory V30 mkii, using a mixture of a Tele, Les Paul and a Strat.

The value of money that this pretty compact box of tone packs is astounding! Perfect true bypass, no audible click when activating, bright LED and most importantly the effect itself stacks up against other units that cost 5 times as much, and I'm talking from experience as I've tried many high end/mid range trem pedals. The quality and size of all the donner mini pedals (that I've bought and tried) make it so easy to pack out a board with every effect to cover literally all musical genres. Sturdy unit with lovely finish and presented in a classy little magnetic storage box with manual and stickers included. It does not dissapoint and in fact it excels in every aspect imaginable. If I could find a negative I'd state it but I'm honestly astounded! Buy this pedal, hell.... for the price which delivers this quality buy all the pedals 😂.

This pedal is a bit of a bargain. Like all Donner pedals the case is very solid and it claims to have true bypass. In use it's not a particularly luxurious thing. The depth doesn't seem to go quite deep enough for really extreme tremolo and the tiny controls make fine adjustments difficult. The bias control is a good addition - it basically makes the effect smoother or sharper. Overall I'm pretty sure that if you've got more money to spend you'll be able to find nicer tremolo pedals, but for the price you won't be disappointed with the Donner.

This is one of 7 Donner pedals i have on my board! It gives that vintage Tremolo effect from way back, and like all my Donner pedals is subtle but very useable. It gives a real 'sheen' to your sound, and adds depth as well. Great pedal, and great value for money! Mac

The controls just give you what they tell you what it does no effect so I'm now removing it from my pedal board

Great sound, well made, small and simple. Really nice tremolo. Minimal foot print for a min board. Like all nano pedals it requires an external power source as there isn’t any room for a battery. There is a slight jump up in volume when first turned on, is my only criticism, otherwise fantastic value and excellent sound.

Limited range of effect. Bypass level is correct but has an increase of level almost like a boost pedal when acivated. Annoying but can be used with a slight guitar volume pot adjustment.

pienamente soddisfatto. Ovvio che non può competere con prodotti che costano 4 volte di più, per cui meglio evitare la seconda metà di corsa dei potenziometri e in questo range di utilizzo è estremamente valido. Per esempio abbindandolo con un pedale da 30 euro molto famoso il "american sound" prodotto da varie marche si MOLTO vicino al suono tipico dei classici amplificatori fender valvolari. Per usi estremi dell'effetto tremolo meglio guardare altrove. Ah non c'è perdita di volume a pedale acceso coem acpita su tanti tremolo che infatti hanno anceh una manopola per regolare il volume in uscita.

Das Tremolo Pedal klingt gut und hat praktische Einstellmöglichkeiten. Das Umschalten von und zum Bypass funktioniert störungsfrei. Ich verwende es mit einem Donner Netzteil. Angeschlossen ist es bei mir aktuell im Effekt Loop eines PRS Verstärkers zusammen mit einem Boss Reverb. Ich bin mit dem Tremolo Pedal sehr zufrieden.
