How to take this product in combination w/Milk Thistle?

When I have had to detox my liver I have always taken a blend of several different products dispersed throughout the day. If the issue is truly bad I take twice the recommended does. For example, take this one in the am, a Milk Thistle at lunch, take this one for supper, and then a milk thistle for bedtime. If you only want/need to take one do one in the am and the Milk Thistle at supper. I hope this helps.

Why isnt there milk thistle in here? I thought that was a key supplement for liver support?

Coming from a clinical nutritionist and herbalist, Milk Thistle is a great liver support herb, but it is more of a protective shield for the liver, a gatekeeper, so to speak. The Ayurvedic herbs in Liver Care are designed to cleanse and restore the liver. Protective herbs can be added once cleansing has been accomplished. Different herbalists ,or practitioners, may disagree according to their own experience and education.

What is the expiration now?

You can expect 18-24 months shelf life.

Why are some of the ingredients on the ingredient section written twice? Is that a typo or was there double to portion used?

If you’ll look toward the end of the ingredient listing, you’ll see a symbol denoting the extracts that are used, in addition to the powdered herbs. If it appears we are duplicating ingredient callouts, you’ll see we are actually stating that we use chicory seed and chicory seed extract, caper bush root and caper bush root extract, etc. It may appear to be a simple typo or duplication at quick glance, but if you give the circular footnote symbol a closer look, you’ll see we’re actually pointing out both the powder and the extract forms of the plant.
