A: Measure around the widest part of your dog's head, just in front of the ears. Small fits 7–11 in (about 3–12 lb), Medium 11–17 in (12–40 lb), and Large 17–26 in (40–180 lb). Between sizes? Choose the larger size — the elastic band keeps it snug.

**Q: How should I wash my snood?**
A: We recommend hand-washing and air drying, but you can also machine wash with cold water using the gentle cycle, then air dry or tumble dry low.

**Q: Will my snood shrink if I wash it in hot water?**
A: No, our snoods are made with acrylic yarn which does not shrink in hot water. If anything, hot water could actually cause the yarn fibers to loosen somewhat.

**Q: My dog refuses to wear the snood! What do I do?**
A: Try holding a treat at the opening of the snood so your dog has to stick its head through to get it. Once the snood is on, it's normal for a dog to take a little time to get used to wearing something around their head. Keep at it! :)
