Have been using this battery for only a few days. Although I did not replace the battery myself, it appeared to be easy. I did not do it because I did not have tiny star head tool necessary to remove back of laptop. It took a technician more or less only 15 minutes. So far it has been keeping good battery life, better than my original battery. I will do a follow-up review if that changes.

Was a little sketched out by mixed reviews, but for the price I had to take the chance. My Lenovo laptop was basically dead. Once the original battery died, I thought all would be fine as long as I kept it plugged in. Wouldn't hold a charge at all at that point. Not the case. Lenovo Yoga c930 acted like it had a virus. Barely functioning, couldn't use the internet. It was on its last leg. I even shelved it for 6 months bc I was convinced North Korea had taken over my lappy. And as a last ditch effort and some deep dive Google-fu, I concluded the CPU was in limp mode due to the battery. Verified with Task manager, CPU was being basically throttled to 1/3 it's processing. I thought no way all this has been the battery. I mean, I had wiped the laptop multiple times while troubleshooting. Basically tried everything I could and lost a bunch of data, photos and stuff. Yep. It was the battery. Thanks Lenovo!!! /S. -_-

Works great exact battery

Such a quick and easy installation! This battery worked for my acer aespire 5. The tools to take out the screws were super helpful and the replacement fixed my battery issue

It is working great. Fit just right and with a purchase of hex tools for additional cost was able to access the back panel with ease. The screw driver was used once panel was off.

Buyer beware. I ordered this battery for my Lenovo ThinkPad T470S. After installing it, within days, the Lenovo Vantage tool was showing this 'new' battery as 'Fair' condition, with a Full Charge Capacity of 11.44 Wh (Original Design Capacity of 24.75 Wh) - see the picture attached. I returned this malfunctioning battery and received a replacement; however, the replacement performed the same as the original, with the Full Charge Capacity of the replacement battery cut in half after only a few days. I would never purchase another battery from this vendor for my ThinkPad again.

HP PCs have a CMOS issue that frequently happens when the battery is replaced. The PC CMOS loses power and comes up in an unknown state. There are several posts about this; what I did to correct it was: 1) Charged battery for six hours before powering the PC on; 2) When the CMOS error screen was displayed hit F10 several times until the CMOS configuration screen is displayed; 3) Hit F9 to restore the saved CMOS configuration and 'Y' to use it; 4) Hit F10 and 'Y' to exit. PC then came up with all the original settings and data intact. It appears to work fine so far; battery life is around 4 hours on a full charge.
