Very bright light
Tested this on my AR-15 just because and brought it out to the woods with my buddy in pitch black darkness. He turned on his streamlight and I turned on this little pistol light and it outperformed his and it was a much whiter light. I'm very pleased with this light. The laser will fall out of zero but I don't really use the laser. The light though surprised me a lot seeing it outperformed a streamlight which is far more expensive. This light is for my home defense pistol which gives me a lot more confidence that it'll make people see black dots at the distance in my house. Very pleased with this light especially at this price.

Using on Byrna SD
Fits nicely on a Byrna SD. Flashlight and laser work nicely. Laser throw is really nice, flashlight is pretty good. I like the ambidextrous light triggers and that both are raised from the housing, making them easy to blindly locate with your finger. Things I think could be improved - amount of pressure needed to trigger the light. I don’t know how many are going to have the finger strength in their trigger finger to activate the light/laser. I use the thumb of my non-dominant hand to activate them. There is no way to set it so you can activate both the flashlight and laser with a single, quick press. To activate the laser, the button has to be held for 1.5 seconds and you still have to tap it again to activate the flashlight (flashlight can be turned on before or after the laser). It would also be nice to be able to somehow know the level of charge, before it’s needed. I can’t speak of holding a charge unused yet, as so far I’ve played with it a lot to get used to it and to aim the laser. It’s now fully charged and I’ll make it a practice to check it weekly. I’ll update once I have a better idea.

Better Than Expected Beam Picatinny Rail
Good beam for picatinny rail and 40$ strobe mode and colored light works nice. In the middle between low grade and high quality

Nearly perfect single piece optic
I bought two of these budget optics to compare side by side on my pistols. Neither one is perfect, but I do like this one a bit more. Here is why:The light isn’t as bright as the other, the single button control is a poor use of the dual button setup (though it makes sense as it makes it fully ambidextrous), but the shining light for this optic was merely the fact that it has a rubber cover for the charging port which backs up their claim of water resistance.I find it rather frustrating when a product claims water resistance though and then fails to list an IP rating. I’m not sure how you expect people to take that seriously.Beyond that, both optics were easy to install, don’t add much weight to a pistol, and function as you would expect.Zeroing it in took nearly no time at all. After installation I think I had it zeroed in within 5 minutes and three alignment shots. After that, it held its zero for another 20 consecutive rounds, so I don’t see that changing.I like that they easily fit well into a holster and didn’t require me to modify it (though the holsters themselves do say to simply cut a couple of stitches if needed, this was unnecessary).Overall, especially for this price, it’s a nice little optic to have. If I were the manufacturer and I were to change anything, it would be that the laser would come on with a single press, making the solid light a long press, and leaving the strobe as a double press. I (personally) would rather see the laser and the light on their own buttons, but that’s rather minimal.
