I have multiple medical issues and even though I had worked out a lot when I was younger, including softball & skiing, I struggle with leg weakness and am still surprised at the ease of the resistance. Out of 8 levels, I started on 7 and will likely be on 8 soon and I just got this peddler last week. I can compare it to riding a 10 speed bike in the first couple of gears, going level to slightly downhill. Fairly easy for me. I am looking for ankle weights that are slim enough to use while “riding” it so that may help. Honestly, this may not be the best resistance for everyone, but if your legs aren’t in the best shape and you need a way to just get moving, the unit is VERY smooth & quiet and so far, seems to be built very well. I plan on keeping it and getting those ankle weights. It can also be used to warm up and work the arms by placing it on a table too. **Q: what is dual exercise direction?** A: This under desk cycle combining arm and leg exercises, not only allows you to exercise to the muscles and joints of the knees, ankles, feet, but also can be used on the table to exercise the arms, wrists, shoulders and other joints **Q: One of the non-skid rubber feet has worked itself off.
