The tray in model 37537 is manufactured from polycarbonate and contains BPA. This is our only appliance that has BPA in a food zone. "I wrote back today (3/2/15) and asked them if they include the water heating area as a food zone or not. I hope so!They replied today (3/4/15): The water tray is considered a food zone.
