By Far the Best MP3 Player if You’re on a Budget
Absolutely splendid little device, especially for the price. I've been looking around for a good MP3 player that doesn't break the bank for years. After owning multiple devices, I can say with full confidence that, in my opinion, this is absolutely the best bang for your buck. I got mine in October of 2024, and have had it for 7 months now with pretty rough daily use. It still works like new, aka spectacular. Pros: - hand feel is incredible, you would be hard pressed to find something this good for the price. Mostly metal with a plastic clip and USB covering, its the perfect size for holding and super easy to navigate, even if you aren't looking at it. - Comes with A LOT of bonus goodies. Extra USB cap, USB to USB-C converter, wrist strap, and USB-A to USB-B extension cord just off the top of my head. If you already own a good pair of earbuds, you wont need to buy anything else for this. - Battery life is perfect. I use this guy non stop for about 10 hours every day, and a full charge will consistently last me 3 days without recharging. - Sound quality is super solid. If you're a casual/moderate music enjoyer this will be more than enough for you as long as you invest in a good pair of ear buds and make sure your MP3s are good. - Hello Persona 3 cosplayers. Get this if you want an MP3 player that gives the Door-kun vibes, can attach to a lanyard, and actually sounds good. I can't recommend anything else if you want something functional. - Incredibly easy to transfer files. Plug it in to a computer, it opens a file explorer tab, drag and drop files in there, unplug. Couldn't get more simple. - Screen is genuinely great. It has customizable brightness, and is super easy to see, even outside. I have never had any trouble reading or seeing something on this. - UI and buttons are very simple. Takes a little adjusting to, but what doesn't. Pretty much all of it is intuitive. - Storage is more than 99% of people will ever need. - Charging is so easy and pretty quick. You get an extension cord, but you could honestly just plug the MP3 player directly into a brick. Less than 2 hours of sitting and charging is more than enough to last me the day. Cons (not really, most of this is just "ehhh, its good enough"): - Blue tooth works, nothing wrong with it if its charging and connected to a car speaker. Don't use wireless earbuds on the daily though, it will burn through the battery + not have as good sound quality as wired. - As far as my understanding goes, you can only have 3 playlists. This can be slightly remedied by creating folders in the file explorer and the listening to them in the folder tab on the MP3 player, but each song can only go in one folder. Not draw back for me at all, but I can imagine some people where its an issue. - Don't buy this for the recording function. It works, but it's incredibly mediocre. - Isn't the most responsive, especially on a low charge. Wont be experiencing 60 FPS 4K Doom game play on this guy, but it's good enough to where the minimal lag never bothered me. Just be patient with the little guy, it's trying its best. Overall, incredibly good for the price. If you're sick of streaming or constant ads, need to be able to play stuff offline, have a phone that's too clunky to carry around well working out, or otherwise want to try out using an MP3 player; this is my go to recommendation. It has its draw backs, but nothing can beat the quality to price ratio. After my wonderful experience a few of my family members purchased one too and it works perfectly for them as well. I can't tell you a better MP3 player for under $50, it really is just the best bang for your buck. - Fin

Impressive overall, but eventually stops working
I was quite impressed by this MP3 player. I bought it having rather low expectations, but it didnt dissappoint. I had this player for about 11 months and I used it VERY often. In fact, I pretty much used it every day. The battery life impressed me quite a lot and it charges rather quickly as well. I use it for work and it will start getting low on battery right around the time I take lunch break, which is about 5 hours of non-stop use, then it charges very quickly while I eat lunch and I am able to use it for the rest of the work day, which is another 4.5 hours. I also loved the overall design of the player. The fact that the whole thing is a USB device made it super easy to just plug into my laptop and download more songs instead of having to find that one specific cord that other players come with, it also makes charging very easy. I also like the AUX port on it, since the car I had at the time didnt have bluetooth capabilities. The controls can be a little bit hard to figure out at first, but not too bad. Now, the bad portion. I had a few problems where it will repeat one song over and over again, even though I never turned on that play feature, and I would have to restart the playlist to get it to work again. I used to hook uo my bluetooth earbuds to it to play my music during the work day, and it would occasionally just completely turn off bluetooth, and I would have to restart the MP3 to get it to work again. It did also have some moments where the bluetooth connectuon would get grain if you covered the MP3 with you hand or other body part, which was a bit weird, but ok. I did have one randomly die on me after leaving it to charge for about an hour and it wouldnt turn on at all when i came back to it. I did end up buying a second one and as of now, ive had it for another year or so. It does still have the same repeat song and bluetooth connectivity issues, but id say for the price, i cant be too upset about it, and it is better than paying a monthly subscription to Spotify.

A fine iPod-like music player
I was looking for a traveling music player and came across this nice looking model. The price is very good and the unit itself is very light. Because of its small size, it easily fits in a pocket and won't weigh down loose fitting shorts. This player holds a HUGE amount of music! I loaded a ton of things onto it easily through a computer connection. Movement is intuitive and it works a lot like the old iPods. If you're not familiar with those controls, it can seem a bit awkward at first- push the right button to go down, etc. The charging process is simple and the unit fits right on top of the charger, as shown in the pics. The first one I bought did not work, but it was quickly and easily replaced by the seller. The speaker is obviously tinny sounding, since it is so small, but it can be connected to any remote speaker to upgrade the sound quality. We love it and use it while walking, in the car, etc. A great buy.

Didn't work, no human customer service!
This mp3 llayer didn't work at all! I charged it for over 24 hours, started the setup steps and it froze up. It wouldn't reset or turn off, completely unresponsive. I requested a return label to be mailed because I don't have a printer to print the return label. The label didn't arrive before the required return date and I contacted customer service which is a chat bot, not human. Bot said throw away defective mp3 player and a full refund would be issued. I went back to check status of refund, and it showed return window expired and I haven't received a refund. I've been charged for a device that never worked and denied adequate time frame to receive the return label and take the item to a shipping location. Amazon needs to hire humans to work customer service! AI chat bots cannot understand basic requests.

Does its job, but many issues...
I purchased this since I needed a simple mp3 player with a clip-on. I have been using it every day for the past 2 weeks and I am used to all the controls. Overall, the battery life is good and it is easy to transfer songs onto it. The clip also works well. My issues with it are on the UI (user interface) and quality of buttons. Sometimes when you tap the buttons there is a short delay before the input goes through. The lowest backlight timer option is 5 seconds, it would be preferable to lower it all the way down to 1 or 2 seconds, but that is not an option. Every time the backlight timer turns off, the menu goes back to the song that you were listening to. Meaning that every time you are navigating through menus or looking through songs and changing settings or options, you have to navigate through it all again to wherever or whatever you were doing originally before the screen turned off. This is tedious if you have long playlists. If you play a song then press down on the clip-on, it is very easy and common to accidentally press the forward button (moves onto the next song). In order to avoid this, you either have to wait for the screen to turn off or to press volume up or down then press down on the clip-on. As for the buttons on the side, the lower volume button is already starting to die on me. Every time I want to lower the volume I have to press down on the button with a bit of force in order to get it to register an input. The user interface takes a little bit of learning, but it should not take long for most people. All in all, I would only suggest someone to purchase this if they want a simple mp3 player for playing music with an easy way to wear it and a willingness to learn the UI and to get used to it. ----- After about a month of heavy usage, the clip has snapped off and the volume down button does not work as well anymore (button presses sometimes do not register). I like it overall, but would not suggest it to other people unless they needed an extremely simple mp3 player with a clip.

Great little player
I plugged this into Win10 and copied a ton of music and audio books into this. It was very easy to use. The charge lasts a very long time, more than 10 hours. If you pause the music, it will auto-off in a minute. It has a sleep timer (under settings) so you can limit the playback to 30 minutes, etc. You have to reset the sleep timer EVERY time you restart the device, which is annoying because the UI is kinda complicated (dig through several menus to find it). I really like you can GROUP your audio according to many things... Genre, Folder name, Artist, Audiobook, etc. etc. The audio is very good quality, HOWEVER the volume is digital so there is a BIG jump between volume 0 and volume 1. I mean, when I am trying to go to sleep I would like volume 0.2, but that is not possible, just 0 or 1 or 2 or higher.

USB MP3 Player with Clip and Bluetooth, PECSU 32GB Portable Mini Music Player
What a unique idea to have an MP3 Player in the shape of a flash drive! It makes it easier to plug intot he computer to download songs, no cord needed! We had just bought a 2023 Chevy Equinox and new cars no longer come with CD Players (much to my disappointment). It does have a USB port and C Port. We have an iPod that we use in the house with cordless bluetooth speakers so we carry the speakers all over the house, out to the garage, and even outside. Putting music on the iPod was always a hassle as I had to use iTunes. We really didn't want to move the iPod from the house to the car everytime we drove some place. We tried to use the iPod in the new car and we got it connected once, but then would never connect again. So we did some research and found out iPods are obsolete and no longer supported. We tried a couple old flash drives and they worked in the new car but the sound was scratchy. So we started looking for new flash drives that would have better sound quality. That is when we found the MP3 Player. So far it worked great one day, and then sounded a little scratchy the next time. We are going to try different ideas, removing it after each trip rather than leave it in. Plugging it in before or after starting the car, etc. to see if that makes a difference. We've used it in the house as a test with our bluetooth speakers and it works great! It may just replace our old iPod!

It does what I want, and helps me be productive.
So I needed something to help me in day to day. I wanted to reduce my data consumption so cutting out streaming was an idea. I also wanted a device that cannot play video or apps to listen to music to reduce my screen time. Something for chores, projects, maybe calm drives where there is no rush was needed. So I searched for possibilities and came across this. This product cuts out a lot of the middleman in a lot of aspects. It can play multiple file types, it can connect to a wide array of bluetooth devices, and you do not need an external program to load files onto it. It is treated like a flash drive when plugged in and you can just copy files onto it. Something not clearly stated is that you don't have to use your PC to charge it. It comes with a USB adapter to plug it into your typical phone charger to give it a charge, just be sure to look at the manual packet included with it to make sure your charger base is compatible (printed on the side of the block, and mentioned for this device in the manual) It may not be waterproof, so keep concern of that. The only cons I would say are more so on programming side as little things that could be better. This version I am using is the bluetooth version. It does not automatically look for things to connect to when turned on. You have to enter the bluetooth menu in order for it to search for devices. You do not need to play with the options for devices it has already connected to in past but you do have to open that menu every time to get it to connect. There is a soft lock that can happen but is easy to avoid. Do not let it enter the low power warning when listening to music while using bluetooth. It will lock up and you have to wait several hours to undo the lock. Simply wait a good amount of hours and hold down the power button to shut it off. This soft lock also happens if you open a menu right as a device connects. Wait for your bluetooth device to connect before opening menus and you are good to go. The battery settings are set to auto awaken a certain amount of time after being told to turn off. I recommend setting this to shut down till turned back on (which is not the default). If you plug it in to charge it does trigger power consumption even though you haven't turned it back on. So you will need to power it off again to not waste power after a charge. Overall you may think mp3 players are a thing of the past but when it comes to saving money (cutting out audio streaming subscriptions), being more productive (reducing screen time), and having control over your library of music, it is good to have. You do have to go the classical route of obtaining sound files and paying for music, which seems a hurdle in modern days, but that is worth it to help you when you really should put down that phone.
