Great game!
I remember playing this back in the day and thoroughly enjoyed it as an avid X-Files fan.Getting it to run these days isn't too much of an issue either and is still very playable. It will run on Windows 10. I had to install QuickTime and run it as administrator or it would crash at a specific point in the game, but other than that it was smooth sailing. If you're a fan of the series and point & click games, this really is a can't miss. The story is solid and in the gameplay department, it's not as convoluted as some other games of the genre could be at the time.

A Great Game For X-Files Fans
I had this game when it first came out and really enjoyed it. I was very pleased to discover that I could own the game again. I am running it on Windows 7 Home Premium, and I haven't had to change any settings. It's playing just fine. The graphics are a little grainy, but you get used to it as you get involved in the game. I am not a typical "gamer" who grew up using a controller, so using a mouse instead makes the actions of the game easy for anyone to play. The game itself can still be challenging since there are a lot of details to take care of as you solve the mystery of the missing agents, Mulder and Scully. It really puts you right beck into the world of the X-Files, much more so than the animated Play Station game that came out later. I highly recommend this game for fans who are gamers, as well as those who are put off by more modern gaming.

Good, but need an older system
Just a warning, this game will NOT run on Windows 10. Windows 7 is tricky. I have a laptop that I installed Windows XP on just for this game, and it works fine.

It's just as perfect as it was when I was a kid
I was so relieved to find this for sale online because the version I bought in 1999 is missing several CDs. It's just as perfect as it was when I was a kid! Thanks for keeping it around!

Good episode to go along with the season.
It was a quick game but it was a good one. It didn't feel any different than any other x-files episode from that season. Which I should add was a really good season of X-Files.

Storyline is good if not a little complicated. It was really hard to figure out several steps. I recommend you have time on your hands before trying the game.
