I knew to get 5 mil or thicker mylar bags, so when I saw this complete kit I did not hesitate buying it, the mylar bags are indeed thick and just what I wanted, it also came with 40 oxygen absorbers that were vacuum sealed. The mylar bags have a very strong click seal that took some effort to open and gives me added peace of mind when it came to heat sealing the bags, the heat sealing went very well and overall I was very impressed with this mylar kit, the quality of the bags are excellent and the oxygen absorbers worked as intended.

2nd lot of these bags ordered. Mainly for long term storage of emergency dried foodstuffs. Very hardy and tough. Ziplock style Seals hold well. Come with oxygen things to put in bags and labels.

I'm a fully paid up prepper and find these are great quality. No point buying and storing all this stuff and it going to waste when you use inferior quality Mylar. Choose these and you won't be disappointed. Also, don't bother splashing out on a heat sealer, a normal domestic iron or hair straighteners work perfectly.

Use these for longterm storage of rice/beans/pulses/dried milk. I would recommend buying extra individually sealed O2 absorbers and adding an extra before sealing. Found these to be a little too thick for my standard heat sealer and ended up using my ceramic hair straighteners instead, which works way better as provides a much thicker and stronger heat seal. I ended up putting my hair straighteners on 270°c and that was hot enough to seal the bag quickly and throughly.

Just what I wanted will do the job that I want to do

Just the ticket for long term dry food storage solutions. Easy to use and with the added bonus of being supplied with oxygen absorbing packets. Great job

I bought separate 500cc absorbers for the bags as the blue sachets that came did not work even after a few days. I had some smaller mylar bags so I also tried them in the half gallon bags but after a week, they have still not sucked out the air so I have had to order another lot of 50 x 500cc and will now have to open and reseal the smaller bags. The ones I bought separately worked great in the gallon bags and have sucked out the air. I think I just got a bad batch. Anyway really pleased with the thickness of the bags and they are all done ready to store. There are a variety of foods in the gallon bags and they are all ok but it has cost me an additional £21. Dear do, but they came quickly and worked great. I am sure it was down to a mishap. I worked fast. Had everything in place and they are heat sealed but I will wait a few more days before taking a picture. and update the review. Stuff happens!

Very large bags which I purposely bought and was not disappointed. Only used two of which one was divided into two separate pieces and vacuum sealed.
