Mr. Beams MB572 Outdoor Wireless Battery-Powered 35 Lumens LED Path Light with Motion Sensor, 2-Pack, Dark Brown

Purchased these path lights to light a dark alley way at the side of my house. It was a blind spot from my garden lights and I was forever tripping over the dogs as couldn't see a thing. They are surprisingly bright for what they are and give a very cool white light which shines downwards. I used the two slots on the back to mount them on a fence panel (about 5 foot high) and the amount of light was impressive. It's certainly not a floodlight, but enough to light pathways, small patio areas and steps. Included are two lights, screws and two spikes for mounting in soil or grass. But I think these are better mounted higher so the pool of light spreads more (depending on your needs). They are weather proof and take 3 x C type batteries each. Note that they are supposed to be 35 lumens of light but the manufacturers website states 20 lumens. Either way they are quite bright for what they are. There are two switches inside. One controls the amount of time the light stays on and the other allows the light to stay on in a very dim low power mode, or to turn on and off as normal through motion detection. The lights will only activate after dark and the motion sensor is 180 degrees and detects movement up to 12 feet. Hard to say how long the batteries will last as it will depend on their usage. But they should last around 12 months according to the manufacturer. These are ideal if you require a cool white light that shines downwards. They won't shine much forward of their position so for me worked best mounted higher so the light spreads. Ideal for down lighting small areas like a path or steps. Highly recommended.

We have several of these battery powered, movement sensor lights illuminating our external parlthways around the house. I didn't need the ground spikes, but the lights themselves were not available without them. Having said that, I have been very pleased with their performance and longevity up till now, and hopefully these will last just a long too. Top tip: use rechargeable batteries in order to keep costs down.

It took me ages looking online and deciding on what outside lights I would want. I live in a rental so battery is all I can get. I have been coming back from work and parents very late that I always think it is dangerous for me to walk through my garden to the back door. After weeks of pondering I was happy to settle for this brand. When I recieved them I was excited to open and put together. I scratched the plastic a bit when screwing in and out the screws. Only to find out one day returning home how practically useless the lights are. It like thee are there to light up for cats. These lights are hopeless, I can barely see much even though I have a small walkway. A cellphone torch is way way way better than the lights. The light shine is not clear, it is foggy and looks like light that was shinning through a few sheets of paper. If it wasnt for the few scratches when unscrewing and screwing i would IMMIDIATELY return that useless thing. Not impressed whatsoever. I dont know what these light are supposed to light but not much. Just terrible. I cant believe I bought two sets.

Bit disappointed with these, especially after buying the excellent Ultra Bright Spotlight by Mr Beams. These Path Lights do not project their light very far and tend to create a shadow. Their activation range is very good and they are easy to assemble. Although rain water tends to collect in the bottom of the pocket it hasn't infiltrated the unit. They stick in the ground well enough on the supplied spikes and can be removed easily from the spike to hold like a torch. They are OK if you have several alongside a straight narrow path, but not a wide one that has bends in it. I would buy more if the light was stronger.

I bought four of these two years ago. There is no street lighting near my house and they do an excellent job of illuminating my path when coming home. I approach the house quite fast on my mountain bike and they still light up very quickly. A number of neighbours have asked me about them and they also have purchased them for their paths. If they ever break down, I'd have no hesitation in ordering them again.

Poor quality light, very limited spead of light. Need plenty of sunlight compare to other and need to be put in soft ground otherwise they snap under pressure. was diappointed at they came recommended

These are brilliant. Sensor works great and light omitted is perfect to light up the driveway and love the fact that the light goes off after a short while. Only real negatives are that it would be better if the backing plate of the light which is used to secure them to the wall was of a better material as plastic is not really strong enough for outside mounting. Metal would be better. Also, the fixing screws supplied were not the right size to fit in the slot provided for securing the light to the wall. I had to search for screws to fit which, due to the specific dimensions of the screw hole and slot provided, was very time consuming. And I'm not at all sure the plastic will hold up to much removal from and re-fitting to the wall when replacing the batteries.

Better than I thought. Main use is in selected rooms and halls so that at night we don't have to turn on bright main lights.

He estado probando muchos modelos de estos tipos de luces pero siempre en formato "solar". Esos modelos nunca daba una buena luz y no daba suficiente luz para iluminar una área. Compré 4 packs para tener 8 en total y ahora están por nuestras escaleras exteriores. La verdad es que funciona de maravilla. Las pilas duran mas o menos un año así que tampoco tienes que cambiarlas a menudo. Si estás buscando una luz para un jardín exterior estas son muy recomendables.

Die batteriebetriebenen Bewegungslichter dind sehr praktisch. Die Batterien halten sehr lange und die Lichter reagieren sehr gut auf Bewegung und machen ein helles Licht, das ausreichend ist um sicher auf Treppen und Wegen draußen im Dunkeln zu laufen.
