SMITH Squad Goggles with ChromaPop Lens

I bought these SMITH Squad goggles for eye protection and wind protection on a trip to Antarctica, and they worked great. They were comfortable to wear, looked good, and did exactly what I needed them to do in cold, windy conditions. The quality is very good for the price, and they felt dependable for outdoor use. I was especially happy to have them when dealing with bright conditions and blowing wind, where regular sunglasses would not have been enough. The only downside is the soft case. It is fine for helping prevent scratches, but I would not count on it to protect the goggles from much else. I ended up ordering a hard case from another maker for better protection while traveling. Overall, though, the goggles themselves are excellent and I’m very happy with them.

These goggles are unreal. I went skiing in the Italian Dolomites with these on a blinding sunny day. The optical clarity is unreal they definitely punch above their price, the goggles have a wide field of view, are light weight and didn’t fog up once. It got more shady later in the day and they still performed excellently. My favorite part of the goggles is by far the color of the lens, I looked everywhere for a lens that wasn’t amber or blue. The smoked lens is amazing.

Super stoked with these goggles I have a pretty normal size head and they fit great once you adjust them you can make them pretty tight and or pretty loose so any size head should fit good. The lens looks sick and very clear looking through and it comes with an additional low light lens which will be useful. Pretty happy with the purchase can’t wait to use it on the mountain.

These come with two lenses. A low visibility lense and a high visibility lense. The low vis is the yellow/red/orange one that gets used most of the time. The high vis lense is the one that looks like a reflective mirror and is mainly used when it's very sunny and the sun is in your face. Decent field of view. Fits well, if not somewhat tight. Even on the loosest setting, they barely fit over my small helmet. But I suppose that's good so they don't fall off easily. Changing the lenses requires some patience and elbow grease. But again, better tight than loose. No sunburns with them.

Great goggles, work as expected, relatively easy to swap out lenses.

I think the actual lense itself is amazing. I think it is extremely comfortable to wear, and fits most helmets. The issue I run into a lot with this is the actual functionality. If you live where it isn't sunny every single day then you will have a different pair of lenses. Now this is great because you can ski at night, when it is cloudy, sunny, snowing, raining, etc. with whatever type of lense you need since there are individual lenses you can buy. This all be said with the amount of interchangeable lenses you can buy this has to be the most difficult pair of goggles I have had to try and swap out the lenses with. It is not magnetic (which is honestly not bad since magnetic lenses can fall out much easier if you fall) and this makes it difficult to actually get the lenses out. The best way I can describe it is the lenses have J hooks on the sides and they latch on and fit into holes on the actual headband piece. Getting them on isn't too difficult, but taking them off is a pain. You basically have to rip the plastic bag on the headband piece to reveal and release those "J hooks" and this causes you to not only smudge and possibly scratch your lense, but actually break the "J hooks" that hold the goggle into place. The tint and color options are really amazing and I do think that the value is reasonable personally, but taking into consideration everything else, these goggles single handedly made me switch to a magnetic lens.

l'acquisto sostituisce una maschera uguale con lente diversa, in accoppiata con un caschetto smith la calzata, per il mio viso, è perfetta ed il colore della lente provata con pieno sole primaverile, e cielo velato/nuvoloso mi ha soddisfatto in pieno. ottimo acquisto

My grandson loves them. He's skied with them twice since Christmas. He loves the fact he has two lenses.
