I'm still on my first Kalita server, yet have went through at least 5 Hario ones. These are much stronger than the Hario versions, I hope others see this.

Nice but it seems to be made of very similar glass to the hario ones. They both cracked in the dishwasher in almost exactly the same place.

Smaller than thought, enough for two cups of coffee, good quality, just on the smaller size of what I wanted.

Lovely item however feels extremely fragile.

You'll take a year trying to figure everything out to get the coffee just right. But the dirty secret here is that using this method, the coffee is just not hot enough. I know you don't want that. You might get the ratio after an ungodly amount of fiddling. And you'll think, 'Boy, this does taste great.' but....that 'but' in the back of your mind says 'Not hot.' Oh, and you need to buy the pouring kettle if you want to do it right. And that's another big expense. Not worth it.

Just perfect for making 5 cups or 3 mugs of coffee used with the Kalite drip filter coffee maker and good coffee it’s great

The whole spout feels like good thick glass. The carafe doesn't feel quite as thick or sturdy but as I shattered the spout on another server I'm glad to have thick glass on this one's spout. The handle is very solid and while it's not the most ergonomic it's easy to handle.

Note only the lid is made in Japan, not the glass (headline states Made in Japan for set, not until the description does is state thailand/Japan). Packaged well and early delivery.

Die Kanne kam mit etwas längerer Lieferzeit als sonst ( 2-3 Wo. gewartet ) wohlbehalten bei mir an. Sie wirkt formschön und ist praktisch, genau so wie ich sie mir gewünscht habe. Da sie für die Mikrowelle geeignet ist, tut sie gute Dienste beim schnellen Erwämen z.B. von Milch für den Kakao der Kinder. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Short delivery time. Clean and easy to wash. Nice to have coffee at home especially this difficult time.
