Excellent product and price, works really well

I recently tried the Pro-Kleen Hot Tub & Spa ScaleStop for my spa, and I was impressed with the immediate foaming action as soon as I poured it in. It wasn't just the effectiveness that caught my attention; the clean and pleasant smell it left behind was a refreshing change from the usual chemical odours one might expect from such products. The ease of use is a big plus—no complicated measuring or mixing is required. The clear instructions made it a breeze to administer the initial dose (100 ml per 1,000 litres of water), and the weekly maintenance dose (30 ml per 1,000 litres) seems straightforward enough to keep up with. Although I have not observed a significant reduction in scale build-up as of yet, I remain hopeful. The product seems promising, and I believe a bit more time is needed to see full results. All in all, the Pro-Kleen Hot Tub & Spa ScaleStop has made hot tub maintenance much simpler and more pleasant. I'll keep using it and would recommend it to others looking to keep their spa water clean and scale-free. Time will indeed tell, but for now, I'm giving it a solid four stars!

This will last ages with the stated usage needs. 100ml initial dose then 30ml per week. I never used a descaler in the tub but my heater element clogged up needing to then be replaced. This will now keep that at bay or reduce the buildup rate to a minimum.

I’m not sure about this. I had crystal clear water for about a week (first use brand new tub) then I used this as the water in my area is very hard. Now I have cloudy water. Even after a chlorine shock today it is cloudy. I put a clean filter in yesterday and took it out 18 hours later and the filter was full of chalky mush. So it might be doing it’s job but the cloudy water is concerning. I also noticed a powdery deposit on the hot tub floor. Again is this the product doing it’s job? I think I will use this just before draining in future. Oh, also had major foaming the first use after application. Any comments would be helpful thanks. I passed these comments to the seller and they very quickly responded that the cloudiness is the product doing it’s job. Every day I’m syphoning out chalky powder from the bottom of the tub water is slowly clearing but a warning would have been good. Rather have cloudy water than chalked up pipes and heater. Also whether a coincidence or not, alkalinity has been easier to bring down since using this.

This is how i use it in my lay z spa i put in 100ml leave over night see all the deposits on bottom of spa lower the water to just above jets and put in prokleen system cleaner run hydrojets full then drain hoover last water with a wet and dry vac spa is nice and clean Tip on filters i use the white fish tank wadding cut a piece and wrap around the filter get better water filtration and collects finer bits saves filters I will only use the descale once a mth before drain

I added this product as per the instructions and unfortunately has caused a lot of foam so rendered the hot tub unusable. Im managing the water with foam away but will require a drain and refill which I was trying to avoid.
