A bit of a long review but big for item of this size and price, more info is better than less. I cross shopped this with the Schwinn IC3 and some of the Sunny Health and Fitness models in the same price range. I previously purchased a Sunny model in the $300 that lasted for a little more than a year before the seat post broke at the seat bracket. I was concerned about buying a bike that I could not inspect in person to see if the materials were thicker, more robust after the failure of the Sunny. I'm leaving 5 stars for now but 4.5 is probably closer to the truth. The bike isn't perfect but I am mostly happy with my purchase. That opinion may change over time but these are some immediate impressions. Pros - price w/ delivery was about $580 w/ a coupon from Amazon. As is common with these types of bikes, there is not much assembly required so I think most folks can buy without expert assembly and be ok. The company provides an assembly video but I used the included tools and manual to put it together. Assembly was relatively easy but the bike has some weight to it so a second set of hands may help, especially when adding the base supports. Everything else slides/ screws into place fairly easily. I had my bike out of the box and assembled in about an hour. The bike is sturdy. Solidly built, especially the seat/ seat post assembly. I swapped out the included seat for a padded one so I can't speak to the comfort but the post is much thicker than the Sunny model I previously purchased. Pedaling was "whisper" quiet. I was surprised at how little noise the bike makes. The noise never bothered me much as I usually listen to music on my headphones but if it matters to you, this bike should not be a bother in that regard. The LCD display is big and bright, easy to read. The ride height and handle bars are adjustable and it was easy to find a comfortable set up. Cons - The handlebar assembly is a bit wobbly. That may just be due to the weight of that part of the bike. The tablet holder is a bit narrow. I'm confident it will hold a standard tablet, but not one in a chunky case. I like chunky cases. I've never ridden a Peleton or some of the other 1K+ bikes so I can't compare but the looks, quality, sturdiness, quietness and other qualities of the X4S made me comfortable with my purchase, especially in comparison to my experience with a bike that cost about half as much and some of the issues I had with it. I didn't try to connect the bike to any apps so I'm not sure about the bluetooth connectivity element. The bike looks good, rides quiet, and feels solid in the seat. I'm looking forward to spinning away!

I did A LOT of research on spin bikes before choosing this one. My friend has the same bike and recommended it, but I was wary due to the numerous reviews about issues, especially the clicking of the pedals. I will address that issue in a moment. The bike is HEAVY! Be aware of this if you are attempting to put together yourself. I am a 5' 4" female who weight trains and the box weighs a ton. The frame and flywheel is the heaviest part. That said, it was super easy to put together if you watch the video through once then start and stop as you proceed to assemble. Took about 45-60 minutes. I had an issue with the seat - when I went to loosen the bolts to attach, the entire housing fell apart. Hard to ride a bike without the seat. Emailed Joroto and in less than 24 hours I had a response with a video on how to reassemble. It wasn't easy but after a few tries, success, and I was riding that night after my work day. Be very careful when attaching the pedals. Watch the video (link included in instruction materials on a separate card) and follow the directions as shown - this is super important. Okay, let's talk about the pedals. I didn't tighten the straps on the cages as I thought unnecessary. I excitedly jumped on the seat and began to pedal. It started immediately - click, click, click. I shifted my foot, it stopped, then again, click, click, click. Damn, I got a defective bike. After slowing down and looking as I pedaled, I discovered the issue: the metal bracket on the strap was banging against the pedal. I tightened the strap on each pedal to where I could still slip my feet in and voila! NO MORE CLICKING! I wonder if this is the issue on others' bikes. It seems so simple and rather silly, but my sound was exactly like those I heard on reviewers' videos. I also noticed my shoestrings were tapping as I rode (I ride fast), so I tucked them into the pedal cage and no more issue. I've ordered laceless bike shoes that will eliminate this issue as well. So, lessons learned? If you hear clicks, check your laces and the metal pedal strap and I bet this is the cause. So, how's the bike? AMAZING! I have had for a little over 2 weeks and gave it serious use before this review. It is wicked quiet, smooth, and really kicks your #%&. The resistance takes a second to kick in when you adjust but when it does, you feel it! The rack is super convenient for water, phone, tablet, remotes, etc. The little monitor is simple but useful. It seems to time faster than my smartwatch, but no harm no foul. I just received the Wahoo speed and cadence censors I ordered and will be using them to hack the bike for use on Zwift - going to check that out this weekend. Overall, I am SO HAPPY with my purchase. My spare room is now my home gym and with my bike, weights, resistance bands, and rebounder, no more gym membership for me! I hope this review helps anyone hesistent after reading about some of the issues. Just do it - you won't be disappointed!

I spent countless hours looking online at different indoor spin bikes, felt like I read hundreds of reviews, good & bad, finally settled on this beauty, whom I've named JoJo :) - mainly due to the awesome price point and the mentions of great customer service (which I have yet to encounter). Ordered on 8/5, arrived earlier than expected on 8/8! (no 2-month backorder like some super expensive brands). Sure, Peloton is great... the features & functionality it offers, but listen, my husband & I have been very financially affected due to Covid, and the $2K+ price tag was NOT our jam. Getting my cardio by running the hills around my house was starting to bother my knee a bit, so I knew I needed something with less impact. And it's helpful that I was able to use my Amazon Prime CC to pay this off interest-free for 6 months!! I am a HUGE fan of the Peloton app for all their offerings of classes, so I was excited to try out "JoJo" this morning with the app, did a fun 30-min class, explored the feeling of this bike, the resistance, etc. I realized today that I DEFINITELY need the Wahoo RPM Cycling Cadence Sensor to follow along with the class... which I read about by the other reviews, so ordered it at the same time and is expected to arrive in a couple days. JoJo is on a heavy duty equipment mat with carpet below it... so I found moving her backwards or forwards to be a challenge, so gave 'maneuverability' a 3-star, especially since when I tilt it forward by the handlebars and try to push backwards on the wheels, the handlebar moves down a bit, so maybe that's user-error and we need to tighten it more. Same with the seat, we've tightened it a ton and still seems to have a little give. But it's not bothersome at all right now. I do love that the handle bars can move fwd/back, many do not...wish the seat adjustment down/up was a bit easier, but once you have your setting (and especially if no one else will be using it), then you don't need to worry about that. I'll probably swap out the pedals to allow for spin shoes later on, I don't own a pair yet - so not a priority for me right now. Flywheel is super quite, I don't have a ton of comparison on that, since I usually take spin classes in studios, where the music is loud and you can't hear much else anyway... but it wasn't noticeable at all. Wishlist#1 - I do wish I had somewhere else to put my water bottle when my Fire tablet is on the handlebars, but it blocks the bottle holder... so I may find a water bottle holder to attach to the center bar below the resistance knob for convenience. Would be great to see the attachment have a separate tablet holder just above the current water bottle holders, which would be better to have a screen at eye level for proper neck/spin alignment. Which brings me to my final point/critique: I feel lost when I don't know the actual NUMBER of resistance I'm on... Wishlist#2 - I SOOOOO wish the screen had some kind of resistance calculation or indicator to be able to follow along to online spin classes. I ride to the beat of the song, so if I can't keep up - lessen resistance (sometimes a lot, feels like I have to rotate it quite a bit) or if I'm past the beat easily, increase resistance. But man, that'd be a GAME CHANGER if it had it on the screen. All in all, I'm happy with my first home spin bike, my first ride done this morning and got a great sweat without leaving the house and had coffee waiting for me as a reward! With the features & price, you can't go wrong (PS. shout out to the amazing reviewer that included an ahhhmazing Excel spreadsheet with the price point comparison - freaking GOLD!) - try it, you won't be disappointed!

I chose this bike from many possible vendors because I saw someone say Joroto has excellent customer service. I learned first-hand that they really do. The bike arrived late as something held up the delivery almost a week -- though it arrived to the city next to mine and was supposedly about to be delivered every day. When box arrived, it was kinda messed up, and some parts were rolling around inside. It seemed the box was thrashed in shipping. I figured out all the parts were present. I started to assemble the bike, and then realized the Resistance/Break knob wasn't working right, even though it is pre-installed. I was a bit upset. I wanted to return the bike, but it's quite heavy and solid, and no way would I ever be able to get it back in the box to return it. And I was worried because customer support is in Asia. I figured out I could remove the faulty knob pretty easily by removing 4 tiny hidden screws. The knob sits on a shaft assembly, but the shaft was noticeably bent when it should have been straight. I took a picture of the busted shaft assembly. I contacted Joroto support in Japan by email shown on the instructions, and included a picture of the broken part and invoice, and I was *polite* and not angry in the email. This was on a Saturday night. I had a response from Joroto the next (sunday) morning! They asked me to send the serial number. I did. Then they had the part FedEx'ed to me from China, and they gave me the tracking #. I got the part on Friday, and it was perfect. I was able to install it the same day in about 10 minutes. So, to recap: I started building the bike on Saturday, had a major problem, and by Friday it was fixed. Even though the company is in Japan and manufacturing in China. Joroto responded fast to every email I sent them, they were polite, and they got the job done quickly. The bike works great! It is smooth, nearly silent, super solid, adjustable and adjustments can all be made very tight. The resistance is plenty strong if that's what you want. I highly recommend this bike and this company. Some of the best customer service I have ever had.

I recently purchased a Joroto – X2 spin bike. Why? I am an outdoor cyclist (5000+ miles a year) who typically takes spin classes in a gym during the winter. With the current health environment, I wanted to avoid the gym and do my winter conditioning at home. I was looking on Craigslist to purchase a used spin bike and friends who own this unit made a strong recommendation to make this purchase instead. Exec Summary: If you want to get an excellently built and QUIET spin bike for your home use, you can not go wrong with buying this bike. The bike description and reviews are spot on. Order your bike now so you are ready for winter. Details: The purchase process was easy. The bike arrived earlier than promised. The assembly was easy to do and this is coming from person who is ‘challenged’ with tools and instructions. Everything you need to assemble, including tools, is In the box. I quickly assessed that the bike is solid and made with quality materials. When spinning, you will note that this unit is QUIET! In fact, much quieter than any commercial unit that I have used in a gym. I typically watch a Netflix show while spinning with the TV volume at a normal volume. Please note that I had one issue with the exercise monitor that came with the bike. That issue was quickly solved by Joroto’s excellent customer service. The unit has the normal Time/Speed/Distance etc. stats. What I noted was that despite never riding less than a 12-15 mph ‘Avg Speed’ during my workout, the Distance stat would only show 5+ miles elapsed despite spinning for more than an hour. I emailed the customer service department with my concern that the unit was defective. They responded within 24 hours, requested the Serial ID number from my bike and then sent the new unit via Fed Ex. They sent me the tracking number and then followed up with me after noting that I had gotten the replacement to make sure that my problem was resolved (yes, the new unit solved the issue). In summary, Joroto makes a great spin bike and backs it up with exceptional customer service. FIVE STARS!

Pre-covid, I rode a Peloton bike at the gym every other day for a little over a year. I loved it and it made me love to workout, which I never really liked before. But, covid hit and my gym closed and I didn't want to pay that much money for a bike. After a very long period of no riding, I decided to buy the Cyclace bike. It was great in the very begginging and started making so many squealing sounds and I had to adjust things and grease things regularly and it would still be so loud. The sound was driving me and my family crazy. I eventually sent back that bike and bought this one. I haven't had it for long, but it is just a shockingly good bike. It is very close to the Peloton in smoothness of the belt, flywheel and resistance feel. I only have a couple of issues and they are small/or can't be helped in a bike at this price range. Here they are: Handlebars: I am 5'11" with long arms and normally wouldn't even notice if something was not maybe the best for a shorter person. But, I think it is noticeable on this bike. The handlebars are set in a way that if I have the seat in the place it us supposed to be for my leg height and seat placement where it should be for my thigh length, the handlebars are about a half an inch too far away (see pic...I have it set as close to the seat as posssible). It is not a huge deal to me, but someone with shorter arms may struggle a bit. The handlebars are also a bit wider set than they other two bikes I have used. But, it has these inner bars set at an angle that I really like to use when I am in the saddle. The other thing is that instead of an iPad holder on the handlebars, it has two drink holders. I use it for my iPad anyway, but had to use two small bungee cords to secure it in place so it wouldn't fall during the more intense rides. Resistance: the Cyclace bike had felt resistance pads and I really disliked that. It made a rubbing sound and I knew after I decided to send it back, I would get a bike with magnetic resistance. This bike has that and it is very smooth and can give you as heavy resistance as you could need (our of the saddle too). My only issue is that the resistance starts heavier than the other two bikes. Not too heavy, just I never would have that feeling of my legs just flailing. Which normally doesn't matter, but sometimes at the end of a cool down, I really like to open it up. But, it isn't a big deal. But, the bigger issue to me is how many cranks it takes to get from the lower resistance levels to the higher ones. It feels like the resistance doesn't change that much for several turns and then it heats up pretty quickly. This makes some intervals a little harder when you go out of the saddle with high resistance and then a quick seated recovery. But, I am getting used to it and I am wondering if the company may know of some little tweaks. I haven't reached out to them. All in all this is a really awesome bike. It is so quiet, so smooth and very sturdy. There is no sqeaking and squealing so far. I really hope it stays that way. Peloton is nearly perfect for me, but this bike is so close behind it. When you factor in the cost of both bikes, it is a no brainer to go this route, at least if you are a thrifty person like me. I am so happy with this purchase! The only thing that could make it better is a resistance output, but at this price range, you just wont find that. I use my heart rate to guide resistance. Some things that I use to make the spin experience of even better is: Peloton app (12.99 per month without the bike. Worth it!) Wahoo cadence tracker (it displays on the Peloton app and is so easy to attach to your pedal arm) Spd pedals and clip in shoes (to me it is a must after starting at first with regular shoes). Fitbit- I set it to spinning and use it to watch my heart rate. It really helps to guide how intense I set my resistance. I also use a TV tray next to the bike to hold my a small fan, my weights and my water. It works great and you can just tuck it away when your done (see pic). I also didn't purchase a mat and it works great on hard floors. I do keep a small rug next to it so when I get on a off, I don't scratch the floor with the clips. I leave my bike in the same place, so I don't know how easy it would be to move it around, but it has the wheels on the front. That is it. If you are on the fence, I would absolutely recommend it. If anything changes, I will update my review.

First things first. I dont write reviews unless i really love someting, hate it, if my opinions are the opposite of the majority, or it's pricey as heck. This falls under #1 & #4. Also i have been a regular in spin classes since 2003, 2-3 days a week. I'm no instructor but i know some things and feel qualified to write an educated review of this bike. 1. It's quiet. I use ear buds so I'm not listening to myself but definitely cant hear the bike and my husband hasn't said anything either. 2. If I'm remembering correct, people complained about the seat being uncomfortable. I disagree. It's larger and less hard than the bikes at my gym. Zero complaints. 3. My husband put it together in the less than an hour. He didn't need the instructions much and used them more like guidelines. It was hard to get the package in the house and up the stairs but he managed it alone. 4. It's easy enough to adjust the seat and handlebar settings. 4 way adjustment on the handlebars was a requirement for me. 5. Resistance. This was my biggest worry. I love a good heavy, slow, intense climb and this was the only bike where people mostly consistently verified the resistance can go heavy. This is accurate. I can definitely get my climb on and i don't even have to completely max it out to get there. I can make it heavy enough to stand and climb or jog and it supports my weight. It's smooth too, there's no jump or lag at the top of the pedalstroke. My 2 complaints, that are nowhere near dealbreakers for me and more just an FYI. 1. Resistance knob. I am used to the coach by color bikes at my gym. If you picture the knob like a clock, I'm usually between 10 and 3:00. You cant turn it more more than 1 rotation. This bike i have to turn the knob multiple times to add a little resistance. If i go from a sprint to a climb i have to turn the knob probably 7 full turns. Not a huge deal, just not what I'm used to. 2. The display isnt great. It doesnt light up and i do work out while it's still dark out so i really cant see it well. Also there's not a RPM measurement which is the 1 thing i really track. (I bought the Wahoo cadence tracker but haven't yet used it.) I'm not sure the miles display is accurate either. On a 50-60 ride on this bike it says I'm going about 3.5 miles total. Doing the same amount of time on the gym bikes i can easily get 13 miles. Even with a lot of climbs. I've had this bike a week and a half and have used it 4 times. If something goes wrong or i fall out of love with it I'll modify my review. I would recommend it for sure. Pricewise it's a great deal and i could have spent plenty more on this and still said it was worth it. (I was trying to spend $600 or less, my 2nd stimulus check amount.) 5/15/21 EDIT It has gotten louder. Not enough where i can hear it (music, earbuds) but not as silent. Resistance knob crapped out. Mid-ride i was unable to turn the knob and then when i did manage, the resistance wouldn't get harder. It feels like something isnt connecting in the knob. So. I had purchased the 2 year warranty, something i dont normally do but this was more money than i normally spend on me. I filled out the form for them online. Within 10 minutes they had emailed me an Amazon giftcard for the price of the bike. I went ahead and ordered the same one again (i really like this bike) and it came today. My husband assembled again (still easy enough) and said this one already seems better. There was nothing "sticky" or that was difficult to get together. I left my 5 star rating for now. IF this happens again i will re-evaluate the stars. I'm annoyed with the extra packaging but thrilled it was so easy to deal with. GET THE WARRANTY! IT'S WORTH IT! And i have the old bike to deal with. But a friend's husband is handy and i told him he could have it if he thinks he can fix it.

I ordered this great bike during Black Friday sale and received it in a few days. Packaging was great and protected the bike and components well. I was able to carry it by myself into the house but probably best to have two people lift and carry it. Assembly was straight forward after watching the link on YouTube. The adjustments were easy to do. The only thing I needed major adjustment was the seat was locked in a steep angle. After adjusting it to about 8-10 degrees, it was good to go. I'm glad I went for the magnetic resistance. It's super quiet. Overall, the bike is solid and well built. I would've given it 5 stars if not for these two issues I have on it: 1. The handle bars once locked in, it's fine on not going up and down. However, when you ride standing up and balancing on the handle bars, it can move side to side regardless on how tight I locked it. I think the gap is a little loose or could use a shim to prevent this movement. 2. The digital readout on the unit are hard to read/see. I'm about 6 feet with long legs and at the angle from where I'm sitting, it's hard to see. Also if you're in a dark area or no lights, you may not see it at all. Overall, I think this is a great indoor bike and priced right! It's solid and easy to move around. I did about 7 (30-45 min) sessions on it and I can tell I'm getting comfortable and noticing the difference already.

My bike was deliverd on time and in good shape. Well packaged and brought to the door by the delivery guys. The package is heavy, as you might expect, so two people to receive the bike would be advisable. The bike itself is very well packed and all parts were in good shape and complete when unwrapped. Construction is easy and would best be done by two people as weight of flywheel is quite heavy ( this is a big bonus for when you actually ride the machine and makes it very realistic ). The quality of finish and strength is excellent and the finished article is very attractive to loook at and very comfortable to use. It is virtually silent when you pedal and you can bluetooth link the bike to an iPad or similar to provide a readout from your heart chest/armband if you have one. The supplied speed/distance display is a bit hard to read and probably is the only thing that could be improved on the bike. That said, it works perfectly and is very usefulfor monitoring your work rate and progress. In summary this is a very nice stationary bike which is a pleasure to use. It appears durable and robust. Well worth the money and recommended if you are looking for a great bike without paying Peloton prices!

Ok.....This bike is simply amazing. No noise what so ever, (Magnetic, belt drive) Comfortable seat. Very sturdy. It has that commercial bike feel. Can't argue with price either, compared to the upper end bikes. After all, this is for home use,when getting to the the gym isn't an option. Very easy to assemble. You tube has a great tutorial you can easily follow. It took me 30 minutes. This is a heavy bike. Some may need a helping hand. The ratchet handles for the adjustments are fine for me, however my wife wishes they were the knob style instead. ( good point), it would be easier for her, since we both have separate settings. The handle bar, I put my phone in one holder and water bottle in the other. We stream cycle class on our TV. The pedals aren't the greatest, but sufficient. You can tweak this bike how you want, considering the low price. Adding different pedals or racing seat, for example. During my research on home spin bikes, I read that Joroto X2 was runner up to the Bowflex C6. The X2 is less than half the price. There are many bikes out there. I always came back to this one. Great reviews. Very satisfied with the choice. Smooth quiet ridding. You won't be disappointed, in my opinion.

After reading and watching many positive reviews of the JOROTO X2, I decided to take the leap and go all out with the JOROTO X4S. I felt that the X4S had improvements over the X2 and trusted that all of the goodness of the X2 would still be with the X4S which I feel that they are. I wanted to avoid a bike with the built in screen as I would prefer just to use my iPad, the X4S is well setup to accommodate this and it appears to be an improvement over the X2. The display shows the necessary basic functions and again is just a step up from the X2 display. In my opinion the X4S is a sleeker looking bike than many others out there, which doesn't help performance, but certainly helps if its going to be left out on display. The quality of the build and materials are top notch. The system is so quiet, the only thing I can hear is my racing heart and general lack of fitness (which I am working on). Assembly was simple and done in about half an hour - very similar to the YouTube videos of the X2. My dealings with Joroto via email were positive. At 6'2" I feel comfortable on the bike and there is still adjustment available (the kids were the last to use it which is why the seat is down). As somebody just looking to improve fitness and loose weight I find this bike perfect and great value for the money.

Je cherchais un vélo à la fois compact pour le placer dans mon petit appart, mais de bonne qualité. So far, so good : il est très chouette, lourd comme il faut, s'intègre dans mon salon sans problème. Il est super silencieux. Nous l'avons monté à deux, en moins d'une heure. Le bluetooth fonctionne sans problème avec kinomap. Pour l'instant, c'est un grand oui !

Il monitor non funzionava più. Sentito Amazon, mi ha indirizzato all'assistenza Joroto. La gestione del malfunzionamento è stata subito presa in carico e dopo alcune prove non andate a buon fine mi è stato inviato un nuovo monitor senza spese. Problema risolto in pochi giorni, assistenza perfetta.
