A good genuine Tamiya motor but not that fast.
A great motor to fit into a vintage or older RC car. Nice to have a genuine Tamiya motor with the box and info printed on it. Not particularly fast though so don’t buy if you want outright speed but do buy if you want an authentic motor. Overall a nice simple upgrade over a a standard silver can at a reasonable price.

Big upgrade from standard 540
Upgraded my sand vipers silver can 540. Very noticeable improvement in torque and top speed with 17t pinion. The car is really rapid now ! Definitely fast enough me.

good motor from trusted brand
Slotted in place after purchasing a pinion and it just worked. It is much quicker than the silver motor that my grasshopper came with, the take off speed is around the same but top end has improved alot.

Cheapest available at the time.
I have bought two of these in recent weeks. I have fitted one to my MF01X Golf and another to my TL01 chassis. They work perfectly and a marked improvement over a basic silver can. I have put the torque tuned from the Golf in a Hornet. For the money I recommend these and mine came on the same day as ordering. When I ordered they only were about five pound more than the alternative torque tuned motor which are also good.
