Does not crackle UPDATE-----.I feel very stupid but I didn't leave it on the canvas long enough.

Enjoyable to use but could become expensive if used for a large ares.
I've only used this once and I need to do quite a lot more work with it before I can say exactly what I think of it. I managed to get different size crackles and they were effective but to obtain deep ones a lot more paste would need to be used.

Better than I expected
Bought this to try. Turned out hetter than I thought. Just remember to under coat the base you're applying it to and give it a day to dry. Didn't try to mix ink or paint with it first so just a white base but cracks nicely for a parched earth effect and takes paint coverage well.

This is awesome stuff! I used this for my a level art piece and it was so amazing couldn't rate it higher. It is a bit pricey but for me you get what you pay for, two quite big pots of this stuff. if you're in to textures and cracks then this is the best one around

I've had to experiment extensively to achieve the best results with this product. But now I have consistent results..dependent on my underpainting on a stable substrate Nice effect!

very versatile, give it 3 days to dry or more, can take acrillic paints or inks can even spray on top tooo, great product just be careful how brittle it is afterwards.

Pricey but worked really well. Was stressful to paint over it, but nothing broke off. Will also spray varnish over it.
