Review: Toy box arrived in good condition. I bought a discounted one with damaged ... - Toy box arrived in good condition. I bought a discounted one with damaged packaging for a lower price. Package was indeed damaged but the actual toy box was in great shape. It took my husband about a half hour to put it together. It was easy and required minimal tools. The espresso color is very pretty and looks nice in our living room. The hinged lid works well. My two year old can lift the lid and it will stay up while she finds her toys. It was smaller than I expected but hold a lot of stuff and we were able to fit all of her toys in there with some room to spare. Overall we are happy with our purchase. It looks nice. It it real wood. Not thick wood mind you but nicer and more resilient than plywood. We would recommend this to others. ## Features - Sturdy wooden toy chest with lid - 8.25 cubic feet of storage - Safety-hinged lid - Easy to assemble with a Phillips head screwdriver, not included - Makes a great gift for boys and girls, ages 3 to 8, for hands-on, screen-free play ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0716BSR7B | | Assembly Instructions Description | Included | | Best Sellers Rank | #435,214 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #62 in Kids' Storage Chests & Trunks | | Brand | Melissa & Doug | | Brand Name | Melissa & Doug | | Capacity | 8.25 cubic feet | | Closure Type | Flip Top | | Color | Espresso | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,619 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00000772302296 | | Included Components | Toy Chest | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 32.75"L x 19"W x 24"H | | Item Type Name | Melissa & Doug Toy Chest - Espresso | | Item Weight | 29 pounds | | Manufacturer | Melissa & Doug | | Manufacturer Part Number | 30229 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | 30229 | | Number of Compartments | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Opening Mechanism | Hinge | | Other Special Features of the Product | Stackable | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Recommended Uses For Product | For Toys | | Shape | Rectangular | | Special Feature | Stackable | | Storage Volume | 8.25 cubic feet | | Style | Toy Chest | | Style Name | Toy Chest | | UPC | 000772302296 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Melissa & Doug - **Color:** Espresso - **Material:** Wood - **Special Feature:** Stackable - **Style:** Toy Chest ## Images ![Wooden Toy Chest, Toy Storage Box with Hinged-Lid, Playroom Furniture for Kids Ages 3+ (Espresso) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61SYqtiGZuL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great toy box! *by D***C on May 29, 2026* Love it! Product as described. Shipped fast and arrived in good shape. I would buy again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Melissa & Doug Wooden Toy Chest - Espresso - Melissa & Doug Wooden Toy Chest - White Furniture for Playroom - Kids Toy Box, Wooden Storage Organizer, Children's Furniture --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/49275350-wooden-toy-chest-toy-storage-box-with-hinged-lid-playroom](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/49275350-wooden-toy-chest-toy-storage-box-with-hinged-lid-playroom) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
