Simple swap
It took a few years due to the water quality here but eventually the original filter became clogged, sadly Russell Hobbs didn't make them so you can strip them down and clean so the only option is to replace. Plug and play and the iron was back to full steam.

Simple and inexpensive filter swap
My iron stopped steaming , which prompted me to remember that it had a replaceable filter. Simple filter swap cured the problem, which was an inexpensive remedy and a much simpler option than buying a new iron.

Might come missing washer
Mine came with out the rubber washer so had to remove from the old one . Disappointed as you would expect it to come complete as pictured some people reported theirs not working maybe this is why. Disappointing for a original component
