Prestige Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker Spares, Gasket - Silver

Relieved to find a replacement gasket on this site. Could not find any in the shops and mine was wearing thin and losing pressure. Bought one for stainless steel and arrived before stated day.

This gasket worked brilliantly when fitted. We hadn't realised what a poor performance we'd been putting up with, until using the new gasket. It certainly seems like a genuine Prestige spare. The price compared to other sites was also great and the gasket arrived quickly. One thing to note - it's important to make sure that you buy a spare marked for stainless steel cookers if that's what you have. Our pressure cooker book gave a different parts number for the gasket, but when looking into this it seemed to refer to gaskets meant for aluminium cookers, so the book was wrong. We decided to go for the gasket meant for stainless steel cookers and our cooker now works like new.

Unfortunate it didn't fit

The gasket arrived promptly was exactly as described. It fits my very old pressure cooker perfectly and is a genuine Prestige product. I have used the gasket several times and there are no leaks or drips, it works properly. I wish I hadn't left it so long before replacing my old one. I priced this gasket up in the shops and it retailed for between £8 & £9 so I was well pleased.

All of a sudden, the pressure cooker holds pressure immediately. No more steaming up the kitchen before sealing fully. It's made a big difference and has extended the life of our beloved prestige pressure cooker.

Es ist schon sehr schön, wenn man für vermeintlich alte Geräte (Schnellkochtopf aus den 90er Jahren) noch Ersatzteile bekommt. Dafür danke ich Ihnen sehr, denn der Topf an sich ist "UNKAPUTTBAR"! Bis eben auf die Gummiteile, wie Dichtungsring, Deckelventil oder... Detlef Jurisch

I actually use these British Prestige gaskets on a Fagor six quart stainless steel pressure cooker which we bought in the U.S. The original Fagor gasket lasted for only two months or so and their replacement gaskets were expensive and difficult to obtain. When we had moved back to the U.S. from having lived in Wales and England, we had brought a few of these British-made Prestige gaskets with us. I found that they fit the Fagor lid perfectly and last much longer than the Fagor gaskets. After we ran out of our self-imported gasket supply I found these on Amazon. I ordered them and they arrived very quickly from the first-rate supplier. They work on our Fagor pressure cooker just as well as our first batch of gaskets.
