Use for mail & papers needing shredding. Placed where we usually dump papers on counter. Looks good with big pockets. Review: I bought this specifically for some paperwork I like to keep close at hand, but off the counter it always ends up on. Here is how it worked out: 1. The paperwork will fit in both slots, but it does not come out, or go in, the bottom compartment easily. So it just isn't practical for the purpose I had in mind. That said, I decided to file all of the paperwork on the top slot and use the bottom for mail, as it is smaller. 2. Hanging it up was fairly easy. There are 2 spots (in in each top corner) to screw it into the wall. I opted to hang it on a pair of command hooks. I hate putting holes in the wall when I don't have to. This file holder slid onto them easily. And the product isn't heavy, so I am not worried about it pulling the hook off. So far it has held for 2 days no problem. 3. There are slots on each compartment to put a label or tag. Had I used it as originally intended I definitely would have utilized them. Since the way it used now is pretty self-explanatory I have no need for them. Overall I like the way it looks and how easy it was to put up and use. I am disappointed with the space between compartments. It made it impractical to use the bottom one with letter size (8.5x11) or larger. I felt like it is a bit over-priced as well.
