Came well packaged. Nice to find an old perfume I loved in my youth. Good value. Nice spray bottle.

Bought this as a gift for a friend. Not had this before but the perfume smell was gorgeous. Very light and lasts and lasts once applied to your skin. The bottle is lovely [although it's boxed so you can't actually see it] and it made a very acceptable gift. My friend loved it!

A favourite fragrance of mine, I have worn for many years. I'm so happy to still be able to purchase 'L'air du Temps', at a great price.

The fashion at the moment for fragrance is for stronger scents. It is good sometimes to go back to one that is subtle and classic if you find modern fragrances over-powering. Light and floral, top notes carnation and fresia, it lasts well, drying down to a soft powdery flowery scent. Some modern scents dry down and change beyond recognition. The bottle is glamorous and recalls the elegance of the time it was created- 1948 and the 'New Look' fashion of the early fifties. Think of Dior dresses and those big picture hats.The doves on all the different bottles signify peace after the war and the scent itself suggests the wonderful range of scents you discover when you walk though a french flower market on a warm sunny day. L'air du Temps has simplicity and charm, a timeless, evocative scent. It won't make a huge statement when you wear it but people will notice and remark. A scent that has been loved for sixty years will continue to be popular.L'air du Temps means 'the spirit of the time', the optimistimism and hope of fresh beginnings.

I purchased this EDT spray in July 2023 (8 months ago) and use it occasionally.The aerosol spray has stopped working already, and I have hardly used any of the contents.The fragrance is reminiscent of the smell I recall of Nina Ricci 'L'Air du Temps' albeit much more faint than my previous Eau de Toilette (I had the original bottle before 2000 and still have it - empty).It appears I cannot return this online purchase for a refund now.
