Oyviny RV 7 Pin Trailer Plug with IP68 Waterproof Seal, Detachable 7 Way Round RV-Style Trailer Side Connector 7 Point Trailer Wiring Plug

I recently installed this Oyviny RV 7 Pin Trailer Plug on my utility trailer, and I’m really impressed with the overall build quality. The IP68 waterproof seal is no joke — I’ve driven through some serious rain and muddy conditions, and this connector held up flawlessly without any sign of moisture getting inside. The detachable design makes it easy to install and remove, which is super convenient when you’re dealing with multiple trailers or replacing old connectors. What stood out to me is how secure the wire clamp and locking collar are. Once you tighten everything down, the cable is locked in place with zero movement. The internal terminals are solid brass, so you’re getting a good, corrosion-resistant connection every time. Plus, the plug fits snugly into my truck’s 7-way socket with no looseness or risk of losing connection while driving. Installation was straightforward thanks to the clear markings inside for each wire, saving me time and hassle compared to cheaper plugs. This is perfect for anyone hauling RVs, utility trailers, or boat trailers that need a reliable 7-point wiring solution. Overall, this is a professional-grade plug at a great price. All parts of this plug are much nicer than a typical plug for only a few dollars more. Cover slides on easily, more space to put wires through, and waterproof nuts on back are much easier to use and seal better than typical plug. Highly recommend.

This is a thousand times better than those translucent red ones you see everywhere. Great quality on the fit and finish and the weather seal on the cable is top notch!

The 7-way plug is well made. The outer shell feels solid. The waterproof gland seals tightly around the 3/4" cable. The internal piece with the terminals with screw down posts works well. The instructions are okay with a minor exception. Some of the words for the terminations are shifted down about half a line. I marked up my instructions to make it easier to read as I assembled the plug. Before cutting off the old plug I used an ohmmeter to determine the color code and layout of the wires. I attached marine-grade, ring terminals to the wires which simplified screwing down the wires. When I tested the cable, a couple wires were swapped. The ring terminations may it easy to correct the swap. I then coated the terminations with dielectric grease to reduce corrosion. I liked the plug well enough that I ordered a second one. I'll keep it in the trailer so that if the current plug gets damaged while I'm on the road, I can easily swap out the damaged plug.

Locks into vehicle plug securely. You would have to break the lid to pull it from the locking tab. The connection points also hold well. Water tight seal against the plug wiring works well, but I did have to use a section of heat shrink to get my trailer wire insulation to a large enough diameter to get a solid seal. -1*

High quality. Didn’t match my color pattern on the trailer, but I wired it as the old one was wired to ensure pins matched. Good to go!

This thing was easy to hook up. Everything on plug was labeled, good instructions. Better than the 4 pins.

Good quality and easy to use. These are built better than your regular R.V. Plug. I would prefer the colour to be all black only because that’s what I am use to.
