Babies are able to move freely without being snug or tight at the bottom area. My baby just turn 2 years old-27 pounds and wear a size 24 months-2T. I bought two sizes 18-24 months and 12-18 months both sizes fit great because of the 4 way stretch fabric. Best onesies, I have ever purchased. Absolutely love these onesies! I've purchased over 30 of these in different sizes and colors. Great for breastfed babies who grow exponentially! My newborn was in 6-12 month size. Then we used 12-18 month when 6-9 months. 18-24 months is the last size we ordered and baby can still fit at 30+ pounds and over 33" tall. I wish these came in bigger and longer sizes, but definitely recommend to all parents. Soft, comfy fabric that stretches as baby grows.
