I heard about this product on a podcast years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. It says it’s for animal use only but honestly, we use it on our animals as well as our humans. I can tell you without a doubt it speeds up healing. It’s helped reduce scarring. We had a horse last week go through a barbed wire fence with a pretty good gash. We used what the vet had given us and it just wasn’t working very well and switched to this and this worked to repair and heal so much quicker. I’ll say for my kids as well they’re hesitant that something’s gonna hurt or burn when I put it on them when I tell them this is honey. They have no problem with me rubbing it on them. A couple of tips with animals. We put this on and then gave it a quick spray with some fly spray to make sure that we weren’t drawing more flies to the wound. This tube blast are really long time so it’s a great value with no smell or anything, but obviously some stickiness since it’s honey.

I got this for my older dog that is getting bald spots on his elbow joints and tail. They started getting rough and calloused. He has multiple dog beds but prefers the hard tile floor. After the first time putting it on it must have been a relief to him cause instead of fighting to put it on him he waited patiently the second time. 3rd time he went to the meds to remind me to put it on before bed. It is clearing up his super dry flaking areas. Must be helping with the skin itching too.

Practically scent free. I've used this on multiple scrapes and cuts, from small to large and I can definitely say, it not only kept them from getting infected, but also healed them a lot quicker than using just Band-Aids or gauze alone. It also keeps the wound at the perfect moisture point to allow clotting, and healing. The ointment is thick so you'll want to rub it together in your fingers first to smooth it out, or rub into the bandage used. Definitely worth the money to keep in the first aid kit

Amazing. My Labrador got a Matt on his paw and had to have it shaved. I was terrified as the paw was SO RAW and red!! The emergency vet had used another manuka on it and I asked what it was. Hence after research i ordered this. Within 3 days his paw was healing!! This product is AMAZING

Bought this based on reviews and rating and was not disappointed. Up sides: No smell and quick healing. In one 12-hour period I saw noticeable improvement. Recommended to use a nonstick pad as the dressing with either a gauze or adhesive wrap to secure. Down sides: No pain relief. Applying was also a challenge because the formula is thick and the applicator is wide. Great for covering large areas but it doesn't spread or "smoosh" well so it means applying pressure to an already sensitive spot to evenly coat affected areas.

I love this product! It helped save my kitten who lost a huge section of skin on his tummy and private area do to a spider bite! The vet said I was doing the absolute right thing using it to coat the open area, it healed so fast with the use of this product and he has fully recovered and is a happy, sweet, loving little fella now. I raised him from birth, he was in an old car with his sisters that my husband bought and had just been born under car parts inside the car. The mother wouldn't take them so I raised them and they are my absolute little Angels. I wouldn't give them up for the world. I highly recommend this product!! It's really thick so just warm it between your fingers a few seconds and smooth it on and relief is almost instant.

I have a merle American pit and he is always getting into trouble - he's so smart he can't play the normal way and contorts his body into wooden structures, kids playsets, under tables to hide and find his balls and create his own adventures. He runs on the rocks at the beach. Needless to say he gets a lot of scrapes! The latest was the worst as it was on his forehead - knowing how it can progress I attacked it with silver right away and it started to heal. That night? Scratched open. Now it's bigger and has bacteria from his claws. Come time, continued to just use silver liquid which works but dries out the scabs and makes healing a dry itchy endeavor. It started to look slightly angry so I began washing the wound with calendula tea then using silver and topically applying vitamin e which started to work great. But it still felt it was taking a while to heal, probably because he managed to rub it even with the cone on. My last hurrah after buying I'm sure every solution on the planet, was this. And oh. My. God. After one night (I got this yesterday, everyone) the scab started debriding (loosening and exposing healing underlayer) and the underlayer is 80% less red. It has not been 24 hours since I got it yet! It is a paste format so you don't need much! He doesn't lick it, and it stays put through activities and slowly absorbs in. I know it's barely been a full turn of the moon but I can already tell I will always have this in my kit, for humans and dogs alike. I subscribed so I would never forget to have it! Amazing

I bought this for my dog, had a massive pressure sore on his elbow that started to crack and bleed. 6 applications later it's basically gone and his hair is growong back. I have also used it on myself multiple times. I swear it feels like magic. This stuff promotes healing and keeps wounds hydrated while free of bacteria. 100% recommend for ANYONE to have in their first aid kit. And you only need a very small amount to just cover the affected area. A little goes a LONG way with this product. Well worth the purchase.

My dog had already seen the vet for a paw wound, and finished antibiotics and cream but still wasn't fully healed. This cream, with cling bandage, made the difference needed. My dog also stopped licking his paw finally!
