Perfect for Interviews Using Smartphone
The media could not be loaded. So, happy to have found this. Your smartphone videos are only as good as your audio output. Never forget that. I am a video guy. Unless the smartphone is directly in front of your face, you really do need a lavalier mic.If you do interviews and commentary with two people, this dual lavalier mic is perfect for any smartphone. This wired lavalier mic set is plug-and-play. No apps or special drivers needed. Very easy.As a video guy, and much to my surprise, I have started using my smartphone more and more for many of my videos. However, audio is always the weak link and the big problem. To fix this problem I picked up Pop Voice's wired lavalier lapel dual mic set. These two small microphones allow me to do interviews on a live stream from my Android (s7) for most any social media app such as Facebook and Periscope with crystal clear audio. It is critically important to me to better my audio beyond that of which the built-in microphone on the smartphone can deliver--which is quite poor in sound quality.Attached to this review is a video. Watch it and listen to the difference between my wife and me using the dual-head lavalier mic. You will notice a big sound difference when I unplugged the mic set. There is no comparison. I am very happy with the quality that this mic has brought me.About the microphone itself, the cable is more than 16ft long so it's long enough to meet most needs. Depending on the set scenario, the 16' throw is quite handy. The clips are sturdy. Once it is clipped on, it will stay. They give you two extra clips, which is really nice. They also throw in a couple extra black windscreen, which is very cool of them. They always seem to get lost, so having extras is great. They give you a couple attachment types too so this will work on most any PC or smartphone. The microphones are small enough that most people probably will not notice them when on camera streaming.Tips:It's usually best to hide the cord under clothing. Just weave it so no one sees the cord.Place the mic on the chest near the head-- it doesn't have to be too close the mouth at all. Middle chest area is great. If you are a heavy breather, you may attach the mic upside down on your shirt to avoid the sound of you breathing into the mic.

Shockingly Good For The Price!
I recently purchased and reviewed the Pop Voice PV510+ Lavaliere Microphone and I was very impressed with the quality for the incredibly low price. I recently was in the market for a dual-head lavaliere mic so that I could record myself and anther person at the same time in a quick and easy way. Fortunately Pop Voice has the PV550+ Dual-head lavaliere Microphone. This product has a low price point which is great for someone like me who is on a tight budget. The 16 foot cord is great since I sometimes need some good distance from the camera and it seems very sturdy. I have been using this product for 3 weeks now testing it in several ways such as 2 mics on one person, one mic on each person, as well as using the mic on several different devices. The sound quality was good but it does capture a little background noise which is usual and easy to edit out. Once again I was pleasantly surprised with the build and sound quality from a product at such a reasonable price. If you are looking for a product like this on a budget I think you will get your moneys worth and more from this product.

Works well if it connects properly!
The length of the cords and the quality of the mic are very much worth it for the relatively low price, but the headphone jack connection point has led to problems with some devices I've tested. The PC extension does not connect to my laptop as it should but without it the mic does connect. My main iPhone would not connect to the microphone(the headphone jack has no problems otherwise) but an old iPod and my brother's phone did just fine. I also tested it on a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera to no results. The product comes with two extension jacks(a black PC adapter and a silver one for certain phones) that I've also tested on each device, neither have helped on devices that didn't work with the jack only. Overall I would recommend this product, but mainly if you want to use it for phones with a perfectly working headphone jack. If it doesn't work on first connection, you may be fiddling with it extensively and getting frustrated.- Caleb Lang
