Review: Emotional whiplash - I was ready to give it 3 stars or less around 30% in the book. It was so frustrating and irritating, sometimes a bit cringy too. I dropped the book after 25%. After a while when I picked it up again it felt like I was reading a different book, it was still frustrating and gave me emotional whiplash and yet I couldnโt stop reading. It was weird, guilty pleasure like I was torturing my emotions, but I couldnโt put it down. This book really messes with your emotions. Because there are times when you donโt know who to be angry with anymore. One minute I wanted to scream at Christian, then Daisy does something and Iโm annoyed with her instead. One minute I feel bad for him, and suddenly Iโm heartbroken for her. It drove me crazy !! Don't make me start about the footnotes in Daisy pov, it was so annoying. And the concept of being in love with more than one person was maddening. ๐๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ: He tries to hide behind the mask of rude and arrogant personality but behind the facade there is a vulnerable, confused and heartbroken boy whose love wasn't reciprocated and it made him bitter and question his own worth. After everything that went down with Mangolia he was shattered and too broken to let anyone in.Ever. BUT somehow, Daisy broke through his walls and slowly and unknowingly pulled him in. He was protective and brooding, but oh so tender. The softness and fierce way he loved Daisy has my whole heart. He found hope with Daisy, only for a misunderstanding to break his heart all over again. My heart ache for him. ๐๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฌ: I was so pissed at her for breaking Christian hearts all because of a misunderstanding. She was mad at Christian for having feelings for Mangolia (which was in the past) but she wasn't different either. She claimed to love Christian but had feelings for Rome too (don't even go to that Police officer and Declan) She irritated me sometimes but I love her too. The pain she experienced is unimaginable. Losing her parents in such a traumatic way at a young age and the trauma she endures later is gut-wrenching. Yet, her resilience and strength, the way she tried to heal and live is remarkable. she adapted to a lifestyle she doesn't fully embrace but stayed because of her brother. Rome and Daisy feels more like a trauma bond than romantic. Last few chapters just broke me completely. I was a crying mess the whole time. Review: Love the quality - M happy with the purchase ,worth da money so glad I got an original copy
