I was skeptical at first, but after purchasing a few times, I'm glad to say that my cats enjoy this addition to their food. Sometimes I'll drop a piece or two on the floor by accident, and they rush to get it. It's dense, but still soft enough to crush with your hand if needed. I like that it offers a textual difference without being impossible to chew. I'd love to see a Rabbit formula eventually, that's similarly priced and offers the same percentage range of animal ingredients. That said, the beef recipe is a staple in my pantry.

Good healthy addition to food for cats.

My cats love these as a topper for their wet food. They easily break apart to make it easier for them to chew. I will definitely be purchasing again.

I ordered two separate flavors of this food -- the chicken, and the chicken and salmon. The cats are mad about them both, even preferring them to the purple bag raw food. I like the price point, and the texture. My kitties are smooshy faced, and one has had some teeth extracted, and there's a number of texture issues and preferences that makes finding a food and treat that they both like very hard. But, they both like both flavors I bought them. The reason I took one star off however is that the chicken and salmon appears to have tiny sharp fish bones. This means I cannot give them to them as chunks; I have to break the chunks down with my fingers and extract the bone pieces I can find. I will not buy the salmon variety again. I am concerned that the chicken one might have similar pieces of bone, but so far have had no problems with it. The cats love love love the flavor though!

My cat loves this product! It is way too expensive to feed this exclusively, but I buy a better brand wet food and mix in. I give him 10 pellets with each meal. I squish up the dry pellets good with a fork, then add hot water and mix. Then I add 1/2 3 oz can to that. He will only eat beef - crazy cat oesnt like fish or chicken ! S this product is great for flavor and added protium.

Should be a return item. My cat's loves chicken freeze dried raw food. So I thought I'd try a more affordable choice. The one I've been using is $30 for 11oz. So I bought a few different ones that said they were pretty much same nutrients and benefits. She would not touch it at all. And it smelled horrible, very. ALL the others haven't had any overwhelming bad smells. I Will not even donate it because I think it's damaged some how. But now I wasted money and cat food.

Seems my cat did not like it

I had seen a publication that there are too many additives in our pets food. That what's needed is high protein foods. I've been feeding them FANCY FEAST for most of they're lives, and there's always a Full bowl of premium dry food as well. So I was happy to search this freeze dried protein rich, No Additive type cats food. Not surprised to find it here. It's easy to prepare. Just put in any container and add equal amount of hot water. Now I do this at night and in the morning I mix a can of FANCY FEAST. My Cat's pretty finicky, won't eat any large chunks, mind you these freeze dried pellets are Not big. But I do have to cut them in half with tip of spoon that I mix in the wet food with. He's happy to eat it up. My cat's a poultry lover. Won't eat fish. And seldom beef. So we do chicken.
